“Its really impressive and outstanding what these people do here; how many people and animals they help every day! Plus, they keep a positive attitude and are extremely patient with stupid people.
It was very simple to drop off my pet to get neutered, then pick him up in the afternoon. He was microchipped and they provided medicine with clear instructions.”

“This is one of my family's favorite places to visit in the city. There are a lot of animals to look at inside the building, a nice area to bird watch, and some trails with rock formations. It's usually pretty quiet too and clean. The staff is friendly. The birds of prey are really something to see as is the gigantic snapping turtle and mole.”

“Had an incredibly personalized class, no other seminars allow for conversations and questions surrounding what our business is doing and how the law pertains to us specifically. Could not recommend more, don’t even think about going to anyone else!!!”

“This was my first time at the Inter Urban Art House. I was VERY impressed. This is a unique space for not only art, but also for small gatherings. This place has so much personality.”

“They were helpful and friendly. What I found unique and refreshing was how they tried to anticipate your needs and give you options. I highly recommend that veterans come to this location and register. Don't forget to bring a copy of your DD-214. This organization will also provide you with a box of food if you need it. They also have shelves filled with toiletries such as toothbrushes and toothpaste and many more things. Veterans Community offers many more services so give them a call or stop by.”

“I recently stopped in Story Botique when I was in town from Omaha. It is by far the classiest thrift store I have ever been in. It is spotlessly clean, prices are easy to find, and staff are friendly but not pushy.Story Botique is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with this strip mall. Head for the north end of the mall towards the Catholic school. It is on the backside.”

“I love the doggy daycare at Pawsperity. My Cavalier cannot wait to get in the door when we arrive. The staff are all so wonderful and helpful. I like the way the daycare is set up with play areas and the ability to go potty in a designated area. Also they are never over crowded with dogs like some other facilities. I also like that it supports the grooming project to train people for careers as groomers”

“Sleepyhead Beds is a marvel of solving an important problem. Such great work! As testament, I never see a mattress without thinking of Sleepyheads. Congratulations to all the children who rest better because of each of you.”

“They have a fantastic selection of kids clothes for great prices (speaking to baby items specifically which are $2-3 per piece. This is much better than typical pricing of $4 or up each at Salvation Army, etc). I've found bamboo high end brands like Posh Peanut here along with Janie and Jack, Cat & Jack Target, Carter's, Walmart brand (wonder something). On Wednesdays they are an extra 20% off!! I highly recommend, it's my fav thrift store for kids clothing. I like to go in each month to see what's new. Staff are also very friendly. No reason to pay $15 and up per item new that gets worn for a month or some months. My 2nd favorite is Maj-R-Thrift in Grandview ( 1500 Main St) huge selection, great prices. Worth the drive. They display by color not size which isn't my fav. They run 50% off entire store sales on memorial day/labor day etc if you're in their text or free rewards club. For seasonal consignment mega sales Rhea Lana is great. I've purchased all my strollers that way. Just Between Friends has better prices but check out lines are at least 1 hour to get through every time not making it worth it to me.”

“Called them at 11:30am today. They came out within 2 hours (same day), filled the tires with air, jumped it (but were ready to tow it out if it didn't start), and paperwork was finished/car was loaded up & gone within 20 minutes of arriving (all at no cost to me). Great service. Very nice crew doing good work. If you're donating a car in KC, especially if you need it to be towed for free, I'd definitely recommend calling them.”

“Fantastic bike shop. The owners and employees are very knowledgeable, capable, and eager to get you on an affordable and suitable bicycle. I bought two bikes there for a very reasonable price. The bikes had been meticulously cleaned and refurbished. I'm beyond happy with them. As someone who's been using a bicycle to commute for two decades, I highly recommend this shop for all of your cycling needs.”

“It would be nice if there were a sign or something. The entrance for shipping and receiving is on Prospect Ave but you have to follow the road going to the police station around to the left to find the docks. Other than that people are friendly etc.”

“My daughters and I came out today to shop at this store. We live by the Liberty one but this was SO worth the drive. We lost ourselves for hours in this store. Very clean. Great brands and really good prices. Our cashier, Ash, was so incredibly friendly and personable. 100/10 on customer service. Will be back.”

“Donation process was flawless and it works like a drive thru: you drive the car into a garage-like and staff come to pick your stuff up. Very friendly folks took care of everything.”

“I love their ad campaign, I love how the donors are kept out of the spotlight, and I love that it seems ALL the extreme political groups are unhappy with the message. I agree that those who believe in Christ Jesus and Christianity is for sale, just look at how the media and politicians groom us to follow them, the whole time telling us, "God wills it." (Quoting my favorite line from the movie 'Kingdom of Heaven') I'm happy to see a group that is trying to show that the message Jesus gave to us has NOTHING to do with where we are politically. I'm so sick of hearing that if I'm not right-wing enough I'm not a Christian or an American. the same goes if I say I am a Christian, then I'm too far to the left and I can't have any social concerns.Jesus IS the message and to talk badly or use loud hate type speech to describe another person is NOT what Jesus taught and it is NOT the way a Christian is.Yep, Jesus does get us. He was here, grew up in the slums, was poor, part of a broken home, hung out with all the wrong crowds, stayed out of politics, and did not use hate speech or chastise anyone relentlessly. I thank God that He sent His son here, to experience everything we do and so much more, he gets us.Peace be with you.”
