“We started at Hazelwood KinderCare just as Covid was beginning in 2020. We left our 7 week old baby at a place we had never seen with people we barely knew. And we have NEVER regretted our decision! From the very beginning the teachers have taken amazing care of our now two kiddos, encouraging them to grow and learn. Highly recommend!”

“My infant aged son has been attending CDLC fulltime for 6 months now and its been a dream. He grins and smiles really big every time he is dropped off and is always happy when we pick him up. I really love their app for communicating/logging daily activities. His teachers really seem to enjoy him and it really comforts me knowing he is in safe and loving hands so I can focus on work. I honestly hate that I have to take out my 2 boys (4 and 1 years old) due to my new job schedule, because I would love to see how they both continue to thrive from being in you guys’ vicinity. “As a stay-at-home parent searching for the right early childhood environment for my first child, I felt incredibly lucky to find Ethical Society Nursery School. From the very beginning, it stood out. The open communication, clear boundaries, deep investment in each child, and thoughtful balance of low-tech, nature-based play all create something truly special. But more than anything, it was the sense of joy and safety my child felt from his very first day.
Our son started in the two-day Green class in January, and the teachers and director went out of their way to make both of us feel supported, seen, and genuinely excited for this new chapter. From that point on, every stage of his development felt like a true partnership. We were never navigating anything alone, and as a parent, that kind of trust and collaboration means everything. On top of that, he has thrived in their play-based learning environment, and has surpassed all developmental and learning milestone while maintaining an joyful, supportive, low-stress experience.
Now, as our second child enters this same phase, I feel nothing but confidence and excitement for what lies ahead. I’m now a working parent, and the availability of before and after care has made that transition seamless. What stands out most, though, is how natural all of this support feels. Communication is direct, warm, and human. There is no barrier between families and teachers or leadership.
Even educators who have never directly taught my children know them, greet them by name, and show genuine affection and care. That speaks volumes about the kind of community this is.
Ethical Society Nursery School is a beautiful, intentional, progressive, and deeply nurturing place. We feel incredibly proud to be part of it, and I truly could not recommend it more highly.”

It is such a warm and welcome community that has helped our kids gain confidence in theater and developing connections outside of school. They both look forward to DaySpring every week for theater class and absolutely love the summer camps. I recommend anyone looking for additional music, theater, art, or performing arts- check out Dayspring. The staff is incredibly talented AND kind and go the extra mile in everything that they do. We love to support DaySpring in all of their endeavors. Definitely check them out!”
“My daughter attended here 2023-2025 and we are so grateful that she did. She LOVED it here and it set her up for success in Kindergarten. Every staff member - from admin to her teachers to the Lunch Lady (lol) - really cares about kids and wants the best for them.

“My son and daughter attend Just 4 Us and they love it. The staff greets us with smiles every morning and provides snacks for the parents on Friday’s. I love a good snack just like the kids, so that’s appreciated. The teachers keep me updated everyday through tadpoles with pictures and videos of the different activities/school work my daughter is doing. It gives me a peace of mind because I can see that my daughter is enjoying herself and also learning. My son is in before and after care there, so they take him to and from school. I trust that they will keep my son safe during that drive. We love and appreciate the Just 4 Us safe. <3”

“My son has been going here since Aug and with this being his frist time in type of setting I couldn't have more impressed with the care they have provided! My son was a little behind in his speech so I was worried how thing would go for him, but Ms. Nancy and Ms. Amy have been so patient and helpful with him! They really are two amazing and care women! He has made so many new friends with the kids and staff here. They have also be very helpful to me as a mother with my concerns and questions with this being they first time I have delt with any type of daycare/preschool. I couldn't have asked for a better place for my son to go! Thank you for treating us like family!!”

Miss Ophelia and Miss Alisha filled me in throughout the day on how he was doing and made sure that I was in the know on how he was acclimating to the new environment. The fact that it is a small school aids in promoting individualized care And relational development amongst all of the kiddos. I was preparing for an emotional and upset baby when arriving to pick him up, but I was so very surprised to see that he was giggly and all smiles went in Miss Roos arms. “I took my son for a walk through and he just didn’t want to leave! My son started out just doing before care and he loved it so much, I just kept him here for summer camp!! We love the staff and how active they keep the kids. They are very affordable! I love how Kay Kay, the owner, is very hands on with her business and the kids!! The meals are made right in the building so no basic school meals!”

“My 3 year has been here for just over a year and she loves it. No place is perfect but they really do try. Ms. Douglas and the regional director are always open to feedback and actually makes an effort to continuously improve the facility. I truly appreciate that all of the staff are familiar with all of the students as well. My daughter has come a really long way and I am happy that we decided to place her here after her last provider closed. She still favors the teachers from the two year old room but is pretty comfortable with all of them and knows their names. It makes it so much easier to leave her in their care.”
