“Associates are always so friendly and helpful no matter how busy and short staffed they are. I do believe that this company spreads their staff thin because the Associates make sure customers are happy and that's unfair to them. If the staff here can/do go above and beyond for their customers while continuing to work long hours and several days straight, then this company needs to stand up take notice at what can be accomplished by simply running on a fully staffed business and how beneficial this would be to everyone involved. Regardless, I recommend other consumers that shop here to enjoy the opportunity to experience some good old fashion customer service from very hard working individuals. Oh, and just make sure you pay attention to the price of some common items that really are priced unreasonably high. Not all things there ones that will make your jaw drop & make you wonder why.”

“You know how many food items have relatively arbitrary expiration dates because it's required by the FDA? You can buy those expired items here. The unopened bag of chips that is 2 months past its date? They are still good and only $1.99 here instead of $4.99! It's all about managing expectations. You don't compare this store with the usual grocery store. It has a niche. I wish there was a store like it near me.”

“The woman who helped us is awesome! I think her name’s Debra. So sweet & helpful from the moment we walked in until we left. She could tell I had my hands full carrying a toddler, and offered to put a few items in my basket. She showed the same customer service to everyone else who came in while we were there. I’ve never met a dollar general employee who did their job so well. Her kindness made my day a whole lot better :)”
