I don’t know who his name is and didn’t ask - but my receipt says employee #28 - Ball, if putting his name makes any difference.Placed an online order for a battery. Went to go pick it up and before paying, I asked the cashier if NAPA does battery installations. He said no. I stated the website says you guys do and he’s like it varies by store. If you don’t wanna do it, just be honest. No need to lie to my face.I then proceed to ask him if it doesn’t fit, can I bring it back to replace because website that says it will fit sometimes don’t fit - it’s a 50/50. And he hesitates and looks it up on the website to confirm if it fits and I’m like “dude, that’s literally what I just did at home. Why would you doing it make any difference.”So I pay, went to pick it up and the battery weighs almost 60 lbs. it was so heavy I almost dropped it when carrying it off the counter. The cashier watches me struggle and doesn’t offer to help! Insane. The only helpful advice he gives me is “it’s got handles.”I installed the battery myself at home and then went back to do a core exchange to get my deposit back and all of a sudden the guy is super chipper - chipper about getting out of a battery install. Definitely useless employees here. What’s the use of being “ASE certified” employees if all they wanna do is hide in the back or stock shelves to avoid doing their job - giving customer service. Asinine.

Slow location. People were nice. Store was orderly and clean. Has my part on the shelf. But it seems likes todays parts stores are employed by younger people that dont have the overall knowledge of mechanics, like in the last decades. But thats across the whole autoparts industry, it seems.

The white male with a long dark grey/white beard. I'm assuming in his 40's was absolutely a jerk. I placed an online order that said it was in stock today. As the customer it appears that it was currently in store. So I drove to the store to pick up the online order and I was informed very rudely that it was being shipped to the store. I calmly explained that on the website it should say that it was being shipped to the store so I would know. The employee just kept repeating "wait for the email it's being shipped to the store." In a very rude tone. As I walked out one of the employees asked if he was okay, he responded "customers are just dumb and difficult." I get the ship to store wasn't his fault and he deals with that everyday but I don't as the customer. He can diffuse the situation and apologize, not bad mouth, give a terrible attitude and make rude comments as I am leaving. Horrible customer service.

Unlike their competitors they do not keep electronic records of your purchases so keep the receipt if you have a warranty issue.

We pulled into the parking lot and went up to the door at 6:56 pm. The sign on the door said that they were open till 7 and there was a employee standing at the door who clearly saw us. He proceeded to lock the door 4 minutes early and walk away.Will never go back when treated so rudely. If I could give them 0 stars I would.
