“I bought some Deity PR-2 recorders from John. Drove to KC to pick them up at the pet store. They were just as described: brand new in the box and perfect condition. He had priced them to sell and I got a great deal. I would trust him to mail products if you don’t live in the KC area. He’s a very nice guy, was friendly and did good business with me. I had read some muck-raking posts about his pet store on Facebook but I took those with a grain of salt because lots of Karens want to play “animal hero” but they know nothing about running a real business. His animals were well taken care of when I visited to pick up the recorders in May 2026. I imagine if you treat him with respect, he will return it in spades.”

“As local Betta breeders in Missouri, we have been actively seeking wild or pure Betta fish to rectify the bloodline in a hobby that has become overly focused on inbreeding and improper care for these beautiful creatures. During my visit to Live Arts, I met the owners, who are highly knowledgeable, friendly, and open to providing accurate information on proper fish care. Upon entering the establishment, I was immediately greeted by visually appealing natural fish housed in their natural-growing tanks. There were no cups or small tanks in sight, and no plastics were present in the tanks. They assisted me in ordering and locating the most aesthetically pleasing wild Plakat Betta. I placed the order on a Tuesday and received a healthy and happy fish by Friday. The fish acclimated rapidly and began consuming live brine shrimp almost immediately. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and intend to continue working with this amazing local family-run business.”

“Went in kind of in a hurry and I got right in and out. When I had a problem finding an item there was an employee right there and helped me find what I needed immediately”

“Wendy, a member of your service staff, should be given every recognition for her service. She dealt with a semi hostile customer in front of me with perfect professionalism and deserves wonderful recognition. I recently moved into the area and will be back soon. Thanks Wendy.”
