“While looking for my teens first car I was referred here by a friend and I couldnt be more thankful! I had reached out to Joanna about a car and she was so helpful and honest. Joannas father, owner Pete greeted me when we got there and gave me all the information he had on the car we came to see and recommended a even safer option for a first car. We ended up choosing Pete's recommendation after being legitimately impressed by the car. Joanna and Pete were so warm and friendly we ended up chatting until close, they were kind enough to hold the car for us til the next day without a hassle. They had the paperwork ready for us the next day and the process was so fast! (We did end up staying til close again just talking.) I went in for one car based on looks and instead of just taking my money for the business, they treated us like family and recommended car they'd choose for their own child. I am already planning on taking my mom there to buy her next car there in a couple weeks.
We came in looking for a new car and feel like we left with new family. Thank you again Pete, Joanna and Darren!”

In no particular order:
As a new MO resident, the car-buying process here is horrible and ridiculously complicated (why do I have to go and pay sales tax separately?? Why do I have to do all the extra steps and go to the DMV + tax assessor's office?? Can you not just make it all one transaction and have the dealer do it??), and for this reason, I put off buying a car for a long time. CarMax will do your tax and title and license plate application for you. It legitimately could not be easier.
I think this location is a lot better than the Shawnee location in terms of customer experience. Everyone is so nice and it has been extremely seamless every time I've come in. At Shawnee I've had to wait endlessly, and I never did have to wait long here.
I don't know what that other reviewer was talking about with getting a low-ball offer on his car; my own valuation was incredibly fair (higher than I was expecting!) and transparent. Maybe don't buy cars that lose their valuation so quickly???
All in all, my car-buying and car-selling process was easy. They communicated with me, they answered every question, they were transparent with me, they guided me. And again, tax + title + application is done right there, like it should be!! And the price is the price, and that's that. Why anyone would ever go to a car dealership is beyond me.”

“I took my 2013 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ to Certifix Auto Repair to have my engine replaced, they replaced my engine that had over 200K with an engine with 57K. They did it within a very short time. They were meticulous and methodical with great attention to details to ensure that everything was in good working order. The vehicle runs good and I was given a 90 days warranty with a value price for all the repairs. At all time I was given courteous, credible, customer service.”

“This lot has lots of cars in the cheap price range Just picked up a 2012 fusion 3 months back with only 120k miles for $3k from courtesy cars in independence and it's been a gem. They were very honest and even let us take it back to my shop 25 min away to inspect it. It's always kind of a dice roll with cars in that price range but this lot seems honest and fair.”

My husband and I both purchased vehicles from them a couple months apart and they were beyond honest, and provide the best customer service of any company I've experienced before. You can see they take pride in their work and will go above and beyond for their customers. “I called ahead, and my part was ready. On the phone, I was quoted a price for a headlight assembly with a cracked mount. When I got there, they had a perfect one pulled but still honored the price for one the other one. I'd say that's excellent customer service ?”
