Alphapointe's low vision rehabilitation services are designed to assist our patients in adjusting to life with vision loss with the goal of maintaining or regaining independence in all aspects of life. When corrective lenses and surgery are no longer effective, our low vision services helps patients deal with the emotional aspects of vision loss and live more productive lives with the vision they have. We evaluate a patient's functional vision and assess and prescribe optical devices to maximize the patient's vision so they can perform daily living activities and work tasks. Medicare and most third party insurance companies pay for most of the cost of low vision services. Appointments are strongly encouraged.
