“It's a solid place. The staff is awesome- especially the maintenance personnel; they really will take good care of you. Office personnel are quick and good about dealing with issues. Super convenient location, with easy access to amenities. Generally just has nice amenities available to the residents. The only complaints are with some of the other residents. People can be pretty bad about not picking up after their pets, getting noisy at annoying times, breaking stuff, and just being general pests, but unfortunately that's definitely an issue anywhere. Would recommend if you're looking for a nice place close to what you need.”

“I recently toured RM West at the recommendation of a friend who lived there and loved it for multiple years. I was impressed by the location, buildings, apartments, and amenities. After touring multiple other places, I decided to go ahead and apply and have signed a least to move in October! Although the location is a big part of what “sold” me, I have to shout out Megan! She really took the time to understand my needs and timeline. The tour she took us on was the perfect amount of information - enough but not overwhelming. She greeted all of the residents we passed by and I could tell she had taken the time to get to know each one personally. Looking forward to making this my new home!”

I lived here for about a year while I was attending college. It is a great location tucked in Westport. They maintain everything well and quickly. Every time I've had an issue with my apartment they come fix it within 3 days. The staff are very nice and helped me with every request I had. Apartments are nice, lots of natural light and great AC. Only thing I say is that, its loud at night due to the bars being nearby but if you dont mind that it's a great place.”

As a single mom, having a community that feels safe, welcoming, and kid-friendly is a huge deal to me. My daughter loves it here, I've had great experiences with the staff, and it's really started to feel like home.

I recently transferred to a different apartment within the community, and the entire process was so much less stressful because of the management team. Jayden was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding while I was juggling medical appointments, being out of town, and all the chaos that comes with moving. They worked with me every step of the way and gave me the flexibility I needed, which meant more than they probably know.

Alonzo was amazing too. He even helped remove a headboard from my storage unit so I could get everything moved in faster. That wasn't something he had to do, but he did it anyway, and those little things really stick with people.

I've seen other reviews, and I can only speak for my own experience, but mine has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff has always treated me with kindness and respect, communication has been great, and they've genuinely made me feel like more than just another apartment number.

It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares so much about what they do and helping people and she’s been so sweet and helpful. “Not sure how this hotel only has three stars on yelp. Well... I get it. People want to complain that the elevators and the rooms are small. The hotel was built in the early 1900s. Large rooms and large elevators weren't a thing back then. They have a regular sized elevator too.... anyway, our stay in Kansas City was great. Next time we go back, this will be where we stay. I'm terrible with names, so I hope I remembered it right, Candace at check in was great. She was very nice. Explained where things were in the hotel and how valet worked, and even gave us a complimentary glass of champagne. The best part was, we asked where a good place to eat would be... well instead of just rambling off a place to eat , she pulled out a list of places that she made on her own. We really appreciated that. The room was great. My wife and I fit perfectly. Enough room for both of our big suitcases, a nice desk to sit at, a decent TV, a nice bathroom with a great shower head. The bed was top notch. Our goal was to get up early and get on with the day and stay out all night having fun... but we found it hard to leave the bed at times. It was just so dang comfy. Great hotel and great people. Fantastic location as well. And decent rates. Oh yeah.... GO CHIEFS”

I've had a few issues with the apartment but every time they have been fixed without hesitation and the response has always been incredibly professional. James (maintenance) is particularly responsive and makes sure I'm taken care.”

“I just moved in and I’m really happy with my choice. Amber has been absolutely amazing during the process. I love how detailed she is when answering questions and explaining the process for moving in. I also love how she makes things feel more personalized, my welcome home packet had my name and also my dog's name and she also left notes, like explaining how to use the garage tag. The building is so pretty inside and outside. It’s also so quiet here, which is a huge upside for me.”

“Lots of cool businesses in things to check out but it was Stone Cold confusing to navigate with the building having been chopped up. If the first floor all did one thing and the second floor all did one thing and the third floor all did one other thing then that would make sense to me anyway. But it's not quite like that and I don't smell the bread so I was just confused but we got there in the end. Got to stay positive”

“I have been here at 910 Pennsylvania Ave for many years and my complaints are few. If interested make sure you realize this building is probably over a half a century old. So do not bother to move in if you expect a lot of modern conveniences. Such as washer and dryer in your apt. Didn't happen back in the day, I have actually seen many newer apartments that doesn't offer that. There are no gas stoves or ovens, (my favorite) but they have newer electric ovens and stoves. Understand they have a boiler for heating and cooling. So you can't turn on your heat or air conditioning until they do. Again, be reasonable, this is not a new building. The views will take your breath away, The building managers are great, maintenance is wonderful, and the people, most of them, are kind and friendly. You know there are always a few individuals you wish lived somewhere else. You will always find a clean workout room, and a beautiful pool all summer long. All and all, I have always enjoyed my stay. Nothing is perfect but as a senior I am happy!”

“Been here 10 years ! I just resigned for another year. I love my apartment, office staff is wonderful. So close to highways to get anywhere you want. My favorite thing is the rooftop pool . We do have issues opening on time tho . Every place has good and bad but my experience has been great. Wish Michael would have stayed he was the BEST manager I have had in my years here .”

“I was moving from over a hundred miles away for a new job and had little time to find a place. Timber Lakes was the first of four appointments when I road tripped here. I will say that Morgan was on point, from the beginning, on explaining the complex, what was required, and the specials that they had going on. After a superb tour of one of the available floor plans, she took the extra time to show me an additional space that was available but wouldn't last long. It's the apartment I am living in now and it is pretty nice. I also want to add that I only made it to the second appointment which didn't last long because for the price, the available place offered to me was superb. and I could tell early on that the other places weren't going to come anywhere close. I called Morgan back, she cleared the calendar for me and we got the ball rolling. Low pressure, solid answers, in person, over the phone and by email.

She also was a great help explaining the new secure mail room process and made sure my access card was working. This is the above-and-beyond type of help that I haven't normally seen at other apartments I have lived in. There is also a new office manager working there, I don't remember her name, but she is friendly and dynamic and it's apparent she has the right energy to get things done at the complex.....like the asphalt repair, which I thank them soooo much for getting it done. The end.”

“I signed a lease without ever having actually seen the unit, or even doing a facetime tour as I was pressed for time, in another state, and their website seemed trustworthy enough. They were the cheapest 1br 1ba I could find (only because of the 2 free months rent deal) that had a gym and pool. I was extremely relieved and happy on the day I moved in because everything exceeded my expectations. My apartment was clean and fully functioning, the building itself is very nice, lots of amenities, and a really good location. I will update this review once I have actually lived here longer than a day, but just felt like I should offset the weirdly bad reviews. I was approved fast and the landlord (manager? Idk) was very helpful and efficient.

The only thing I dont like is that there is no free parking option (only 2 hour street parking), and they charge a small fortune for their garage spots in my opinion (70-100$ a month).”

“These units are in a great location. Their centrally located just a few minutes to downtown, airport, and surrounding suburban areas.

Approximately a five mute walk to Macken Park that offers a path, sport activities and scheduled concert events. There's a library nearby that I frequently stop by.

I've only been able to view the exterior of the property, except at the front desk. The property maintains an appearance of contemporary and the upkeep looks great! The staff has been kind and informative.”

“I love it here!! Just moved in a week ago and everything has been absolutely perfect. The unit is clean, freshly painted, and beautiful. I love the color scheme and carpet. The move-in process felt smooth like butter for me. I've mostly been dealing with the assistant manager, Tabitha, and that girl WORKS. She made the whole process quick & easy for me and my family. The only relatively negative thing that has happened is there was initially no shower rod in my unit, Tabitha said it would be in Monday and sure enough- I had a shower rod on Monday. I was at work when it was brought in and maintenance left a neatly written note stating the date, time, the reason for entry & location of shower rod along with the employee's name. I feel so happy and at peace with my daughter and I living in this complex :)”

“I’ve lived at Union Hill for 2 years. The area is nice and walkable, and there is an active community. Units are reasonably maintained and maintenance is responsive, often working on issues within a day. the office staff are also always responsive and offer ample amenities, as well as regular events for residents.

There is a well equipped gym available to residents. Sadly it was downsized during renovations a year ago and isn’t as accommodating after the work, but it is still well maintained and the largest in the area. Overall my experience has been positive!”
