Crown Center Shops is located in the heart of Kansas City and is a unique mall full of one-of-a-kind shops and really cool restaurants. It offers a good variety of unique shops that you don't find at other places, including a large Hallmark store with a great selection of cards and gifts. There is something for everyone, with several restaurants and fast food eateries to choose from, providing plenty of good options to sit and eat. It is definitely a must-stop during the holiday season, when the Mayor Christmas tree and ice skating rink are outside and the inside shops are nicely decorated. The location is family-friendly, with easy parking that includes validation from shops for free hours. The breezeway connecting to Union Station and the link to the Western hotel provide wonderful access to all facilities around it. The Coterie theater inside is a good place to see plays. Staff in the shops are always friendly and helpful.
