“I’ve used several Ace Hardware locations in the past, but this one is by far the best I’ve been in. The team working here has always been extremely friendly and helpful, and recently they went above and beyond in their customer service to me. I purchased several large items online, to be picked up in store, and they called within minutes and offered to cancel my purchase so that I could buy them in-store for what amounted to $300 off the total price due to in-store promos which didn’t appear online. The guys helped me load the items into my car, which included unboxing a lawn mower since my tiny trunk wouldn’t fit the box; and, when we found that one item couldn’t fit at all they offered to deliver it the day after at no cost to me. I am very glad to have used this store for my purchases and will definitely come back in the future.”

“This business is top notch. Traveling home from Montana to St. Louis I had a bearing go out on my utility trailer. I stopped there to see about renting a flatbed to get it home. They suggested the might be able to repair it. I continued home while they took a look at it. It turned out it needed an entire axle - not something they do. I got a flatbed in St. Louis and went back to get my trailer and they helped load it a day and a half later. For the diagnosis, the storage and the help loading it they did not charge anything. For anyone in the KC area looking for a customer friendly rental place this is it!”

More than enough parking and handicap parking.
The only exterior and entry concern is the common build up and need for power washing.
If it was cleaned this store would be a 5 star.
The interior is clean, well organized. Signs quickly show you where your items should be. I quickly found my items.
Shelves had plenty of stock

“The home depot took my return fairly quickly, there wasn't a long line. Everyone tried their best to be helpful. I spotted some dying plants and wondered if I could take them, and the staff were very professional in saying no. Apparently both she and I would get in trouble if I would take something like that. Two of their tools aisles are under construction (?) or it seemed like it was blocked off for some reason. I remember once I came in here looking for an extra large box, and they actually let me take it as well. Overall would recommend this Home Depot location.”

I have been to this location on several times as well as my father. He in an expert Gardner and I am a certified professional Landscape Designer with 10+ years in the industry. I love the bird plant seeds that this location has to offer. However the conversation with the staff is strained and come with a lot of effort as they seem to not really care to discuss the particulars of certain questions regarding their selections.
I am not sure if this is a post-covid issue but it is not acceptable and needs to be addressed. I asked a woman who I was ordering seeds from various questions on some wild flower shade mix. I asked her what the shade time was for the and she acted abrasive and bothersome at the question.
I asked several other questions and received the same response which led me to finish my transaction and leave the store. The next time I think about visiting this store I will consider whether I want to experience poor customer service again.
Parking can be a bit of a bother on the weekends but is usually not an issue if you know the location and are familiar with its surroundings.
The price of items in this location are a bit high and may be mass produced. I mention this because I have found several of the items located here at nearly 25% cheaper at other locations. This may be due to the locations overhead. For the most part I would say that the price can seem high for some things and fairly reasonable for others. Do your market research if money is a priority.
One last thing that I want to bring up is the condition of the floors and the how the transitions from one room to the next can be precarious so use caution if you have mobility issues.”
