“MADI is a high-quality shop with a heart-driven mission and one of my favorite spaces to spend time in Kansas City, when I used to live there. The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”

“WHERE TO START!!! I came in about 45 minutes before they closed with some jeans i got from an online retailer that had, get this, NO HOLE FOR THE BUTTON TO GO THROUGH!!! so i look online for a place that does tailoring and buckle popped up! I went in with ZERO expectations and them to send me on my way to another tailor but they didn't!! Ashley who was at the front was so kind and did it in an instant I was so happy that i didn't have to do a drop off service and pick them up!! it was such a great experience!!”
“I was visiting KC & wanted some shirts for my nieces & nephew. Was shopping at City Market & went into this store. Danielle was really great. Told me everything I needed to know. Shirts had cool designs & were 100% made by local artists. I bought 4 shirts. A little pricey but there's a b2go deal. Also be aware that there's an extra downtown sales tax. I'd shop there again.”

“I popped in to visit IMKC while out mall walking over the Christmas season. I rarely drive into the city to walk, so I didn’t know this store was there. Very nice with some fun and interesting items for sale. I am thrilled to see other Kansas City locations than usual displayed here. I bought gifts for my son and his wife as well as myself. The quality of the items is quite good, and there’s a nice selection readily available. The prices are in line with similar merchandise in the KC area. The men who assisted me were very engaging and friendly. I give IMKC two very enthusiastic thumbs up!?????”

“Store Manager Damien, has gone absolutely above and beyond in assisting me. I was looking for one very particular pair of shoes that were sold out online, at my local store and two other stores close *ish* to me. I spoke to Damien and was told he had the shoes I needed in the size I needed. I was not looking forward to driving over 3 hours to get them though, he offered to ship them to my local store, contact my local store manager to let him know they were coming, sent me an email with tracking so I could be updated every step of the way. Truly this guy should be working at a higher end place or a different form of retail, where his commitment to guest experience and satisfaction would be showcased better, because he has 100% blown away any and all expectations I had for a Vans store. He has carried himself with professionalism, kindness and overall clearly has a deep desire to take care of the guests shopping at his store.”

Dislocation is always very well organized and put away as well even when they're busier but still pretty well taken care of I really like shopping in this location”

“I am loving Kohls. I have never really shopped there until this past holiday season but really trying to spend my funds with Co who do not donate to politics as a company. That said, I found out that Kohls as a company is pretty neutral is that area. So I started looking at them. I got some great deals for and lots of cash back. I have throughly enjoyed getting to know them. Oh and I bought a pair of shoes online for my daughter. We took them into the store to exchange and that was such an easy process, I actually said to the lady, are you sure thats all? I do wish they had motorized handicap cart though. But I probably save money not having one, since my looking time is limited to how long I can stand.”

As a woman shopping in what’s traditionally a men’s store, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was immediately made to feel comfortable, welcomed, and confident. I don’t think a lot of people understand this is a made to order experience, so it is a process, but so worth it! “Walked in and was immediately greeted by I believe her name is Naomi. She was incredibly helpful and kind, I didn’t find anything that fit so I continued to shop around at other stores and eventually found my way back on another day and she was there again and like the first time super helpful and kind her container service is on point! I just needed to try on again to know what size I should order and she gave me lots of help in regards to that. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because they don’t carry any petite sizes which is frustrating.”
