“Everyone at Michael’s were beyond outstanding, and I won’t even consider going anywhere else in the future as long as they’re around. I went in on a Friday to get a suit for a funeral that I thought would be a few weeks in the future. Julian was very personable, yet professional, and acknowledged my future loss without making me feel awkward. The tailor, Winston, came out and measured me for the suit, also friendly and efficiently.
I learned later that same day that I would need the suit much sooner. When I called Michael’s to ask them what they could do (even offering to pay extra to have it expedited), they said “no problem” and that they could have it ready for me in about seven days, no extra charge. On Monday—so three days after I walked in—they let me know that it was ready. I went to pick up the suit and spoke to Keith, since Julian was on his lunch break. I can’t remember if Keith already knew what the suit was for, or if I told him, but he and I spent a few minutes talking about things of a heavy nature, and the consolation of this stranger made my day a little better than when I walked in.
Everyone talks about how customer service is a dying art, but it’s not at Michael’s. Thank you to everyone there who had a hand in delivering this suit to me so quickly, a suit that looks great and fits perfectly.”

Nonetheless, Morgan helped me, tied my laces, asked about my educational and vocational goals. Made me feel appreciated. That’s what a shopping experience is supposed to be. “WHERE TO START!!! I came in about 45 minutes before they closed with some jeans i got from an online retailer that had, get this, NO HOLE FOR THE BUTTON TO GO THROUGH!!! so i look online for a place that does tailoring and buckle popped up! I went in with ZERO expectations and them to send me on my way to another tailor but they didn't!! Ashley who was at the front was so kind and did it in an instant I was so happy that i didn't have to do a drop off service and pick them up!! it was such a great experience!!”

“I popped in to visit IMKC while out mall walking over the Christmas season. I rarely drive into the city to walk, so I didn’t know this store was there. Very nice with some fun and interesting items for sale. I am thrilled to see other Kansas City locations than usual displayed here. I bought gifts for my son and his wife as well as myself. The quality of the items is quite good, and there’s a nice selection readily available. The prices are in line with similar merchandise in the KC area. The men who assisted me were very engaging and friendly. I give IMKC two very enthusiastic thumbs up!?????”

“I am loving Kohls. I have never really shopped there until this past holiday season but really trying to spend my funds with Co who do not donate to politics as a company. That said, I found out that Kohls as a company is pretty neutral is that area. So I started looking at them. I got some great deals for and lots of cash back. I have throughly enjoyed getting to know them. Oh and I bought a pair of shoes online for my daughter. We took them into the store to exchange and that was such an easy process, I actually said to the lady, are you sure thats all? I do wish they had motorized handicap cart though. But I probably save money not having one, since my looking time is limited to how long I can stand.”

“Walked in and was immediately greeted by I believe her name is Naomi. She was incredibly helpful and kind, I didn’t find anything that fit so I continued to shop around at other stores and eventually found my way back on another day and she was there again and like the first time super helpful and kind her container service is on point! I just needed to try on again to know what size I should order and she gave me lots of help in regards to that. The only reason why it’s not 5 stars is because they don’t carry any petite sizes which is frustrating.”

“I love the selection of boots to choose from and their jeans. There were plenty of clearance boots too, which I absolutely loved. The only issue was that I already felt out of place going in there to look around and I kinda got a look from one of the employees that made it even worse. It appeared as if she didn’t want to ring me up once it was time to pay. It’s a good store within itself, but all people should be made to feel welcome there no matter what.”
