I booked a car through Payless prior to reading the bad reviews.I found my experience to be friendly and efficient....both picking up and dropping off.My car was three tiers above my prepaid car.

We recently rented a car from them and had an unpleasant experience: the Jeep reeked of tobacco and marijuana! It seems that they could have tried to eliminate the intense odor before renting to another customer! Well, fortunately we had our masks! Have never been given a stinky car before!

I was allowed to make my reservation with my debit card online. I went to get the car and was informed I couldn't rent it with my debit card. WHAT?!?!? It was nearly a week before I got my money back from a car they wouldn't rent. They sure took the money fast enough. Now I know not to do business there.
