recordBar is a live music venue in the heart of Kansas City, established in 2005. It is a favorite venue and a great place to see shows, offering an intimate stage that is both excellent for viewing and still feels intimate. The venue is very clean, well-maintained, and updated, with clean restrooms. It hosts exceptional local, regional, national, and international bands nearly seven nights a week, from diverse artists, and is a great venue for dancing to live music. The staff is very kind, friendly, polite, accommodating, and focused. The sound guy is amazing and knowledgeable, resulting in excellent sound for every show. The venue has a fully stocked bar with reasonably priced drinks, though some drink prices are noted as high. It also has a kitchen serving food. There is a combination of paid and free parking nearby. Located half a block from the T-Mobile Center, it feels like its own little world. It is highly recommended for a great time at a smaller, clean venue for an electrifying performance.
