The services here are great. We had a medical emergency and everyone was very helpful and took excellent care of the situation. That being said… I am feeling like they take every opportunity to squeeze money out of you. My brother had to arrive at his campsite earlier than actual check in and was charged additional money to set up on an already vacant campsite (seriously) campers like to start their day before 3:00. Even hotels let you check in early if your room is ready!! Then I was greeted by a nasty tempered girl who reprimanded me for checking in 1 hour before check in to my cabin that was cleaned and ready ( why is this a problem?) . My nephew was charged for a day pass at 3pm and told he had to leave by sundown it’s camping they came for the campfire and evening activities it was the Halloween spooktacular for gosh sake!!! Checking in times need to be flexible in a campground and a day can’t end at sundown in October.

We just did our second float trip. Last year we stayed in two cabins but this year we stayed in rooms in one of the larger buildings. I can say with confidence that the bar of soap supplied is the smallest thinnest bar of soap I have ever seen. The room was generally neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. Absolutely bare bones but perfectly fine to crash in after an all-day float.

Loved the float trip!! The cabin (which was a two bedroom , supposed to be larger) was very small, but suited the purpose! We will return but probably save money and camp next time!

We stayed in a Kozy Kabin. It was cute and clean, however, we were not made aware that there would be no kitchenware (cooking or eating utensils, dishes, cups/glasses, dish soap, towels, washcloths). There aren't even cabinets to store these items had we known to bring our own. Management should make it clear on the website and when booking that you need to bring these supplies. (They conveniently have them available for purchase at their store, which seemed like a racket). In addition, the floors looked clean, but after being barefoot for a few minutes, our feet were black on the bottom. The location of the cabin was convenient, but due to the other issues, it was not worth the money.

Stayed in cozy cabin deluxe pet friendly It was a little tight but worked well for us. The outdoor space in cabin 3 was nice Beware when you read bring your own cooking pots/pans Luckily I brought silverware, cups and plates as well There are no utensils at all. There are also no prices on most items in the store. Bring plenty of ice with you We went after Labor Day and almost had the beach to ourselves. We also enjoyed the Curtois and Huzzah rivers as well. We would go back again

There was part of a chip in my bed along with hair, which leads me to believe that they don't clean sheets between people. On the bathroom wall there was a contact, which only further made me believe they don't clean. The area around the sink drain didn’t look clean. There is no internet or cell service. They sell internet service. 10$. A night. For ONE person. There was a stain on the carpet so it isn't as if they're even putting any money into keeping things nice with you paying 10$ per night per person for internet plus the room cost/float cost/other costs . My father died shortly before and they refused to refund the float and only allowed us to reschedule for the very next day. The very next day. Not a week or so down. No. The very next day. Didn't even ask for proof. Just refused. They keep keys where anybody could take yours if you come in after 9pm. The walls were so thin I could hear people opening their dressers. Doors opening. People talking in the other rooms. People from the camp sites, especially when they crank the music and party at night. Couples, enough said. Not everybody had their dogs on leashes, though all of them that I saw were well behaved. Your bathroom toilet paper is also one ply, for those that it bothers. When you're renting a room and still get 1 ply. I don't recall seeing any handicap parking spots near the rental rooms, though they MIGHT have had some. Neither of the room's bedside lights worked at all. The room was hot one minute and cold the next, so hard to regulate and uncomfortable for that reason. When I had left I was itchy all over for about two weeks. Could be a coincidence but it was worse when my head was on the pillow the second night. So.

This place is great if your looking for a party! If you are wanting to be around a lot of people while floating, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a peaceful camping/floating experience then this is not the place for you. If you want to be one of the only ones on the river, this is not the place for you. If your looking for crystal clear water this is not for you. There is pretty good fishing both at the campground and on the float. Decent smallmouth are plentiful in the river! This place is a good place for families with lots of amenities. Just know what you are wanting out of your camping experience before you book here!

This was our first trip to this beautiful resort . It has a wide variety of cabins and tent and rv camping . The tube loop is fun , but life jacket’s recommended. There are several spots with tree roots and can get tipped .. can’t touch in a lot of places and is hard to get back on tube . Some people tipped off tube .. otherwise there are a few spots with no moving water .. so if you don’t have an oar you can get stopped .. if you bring a pet , get them a life jacket too .. Will , our bus driver , is the absolute BEST ! He will go above and beyond to help you ! Thanks Will . The mercantile is the cleanest store I’ve been to ! Well stocked and NOT overpriced ..We will definitely be back !

I understand that they can’t take use out on the river due to the rain. But what I don’t understand is why I can’t get a refund due to something I can’t control like the rain? I really liked this place last time I was there but why would you call me the day of my float to tell me I can’t go and won’t get a refund. I really think they need to have their policy on their home page in Bold Print!

Zero stars from me, if I could post that way. There are so many things I want to say, first, they would not provide the service we paid for, having our daughters kayak dropped in and taken back to our camp site, two days in a row. So we are out $100.00. They said they’ll credit us for another float within a year but wouldn’t credit our current rafts, refund us or give us store credit. So, we are out $100.00, there is no way we are coming back to a place that will not make things right. There was no reason she couldn’t have had her kayak. It was just fine out there both days we floated. They could’ve made this right, and chose not to. Security, holy cow, do they let that job go to their head, you can’t even walk/talk without someone getting on to you. Chill people. When they do say anything, they are yelling, there’s no reason for that. What has happened there, for that type of treatment? They had our groups reservations all messed up, it took several calls and trips to the office to get it all straightened out. I changed one of our rafts 9 days before our float, she said their policy is 7 days in advance or we’re charged $50. I said ok? What’s the problem, it’s 9 days, she said she’ll have to talk to the manager. They made that one right, it was a miracle. Everything was so difficult at this campground, they don’t care about customer service at all. 100% do not recommend. They don’t even have my credit correct if I did want to come back. Reply- you keep saying that all you want- horrible customer service! Again, you could make this right and your terrible business management decides not to as you see over and over in these reviews. People, please read these reviews and go to other campgrounds/resorts that care about people and their hard earned money because this place doesn’t. We go all over and this is the first time, we’ve been treated this bad by several staff members, like I said you can’t do anything without someone stopping you and scolding you about something.

We camped with a large group of all ages. Something for everyone. Lots of play in the river. Some of us floated. Some were able to do the ariel park or Treetops. They had great guides that kindly helped a terrified 9 year old through. There are several points you can quit at different levels but the 8 year old did it all. If you're worried about it being too hard, most of the challenges can be zip lined through if they're too hard for you.We were also able to go to Onondaga state park and do cathedral cave a few miles down the road.Staff was great, store had a little of everything. Paddlers grill is open Friday and Saturday but closed Sunday.
