“I recently had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tony. We had a phone conversation after I had ordered a refill on a compound medication. During the call I had told him I was battling leukemia and waiting on a bone marrow transplant. Several hours later, when the medication was ready, Tony brought it to my house along with a care package of things he thought might help with some of my chemotherapy side effects. I was blown away by this act of kindness and compassion from someone I had never met. I actually broke down in tears after he left. You see, I didn't deserve this kindness from him. A year or so ago I had left a negative review for Summit RX out of anger and immaturity because I felt I had to wait too long during a previous visit while they were experiencing a credit card outage at their store. That was terrible judgment on my part. I let the pain from my disease get to me and directed it toward his business out of unwarranted anger and immaturity. After meeting Tony and seeing firsthand what a kind, caring, and compassionate person he is, I've come to realize he and his pharmacy are exactly what Lee's Summit needs. He could've chosen not to ever deal with me again after the review I'd previously left, but he didn't. He showed me forgiveness, kindness, and caring. We need more people like him in our community. I learned a lesson from Tony today that made me take a hard look at who I am and how I treat people, and I am grateful for that. I highly recommend Summit RX. You won't find this level of customer service or caring from any other pharmacy in town. The compound medication they made me is working great and relieving my pain. I can't thank Summit RX and Tony enough for what they did for me today. Not just for the medication but for the lesson in forgivness and compassion.”
“This Walmart pharmacy is great. I've never had any issue over how long it took to get a medication or the help I received. I'd totally avoided Walmart pharmacies for a couple of decades bc of how bad the service was in the ones I lived near. This one is my go to and preference now.”

“We recently moved to the area, and have been looking around for a grocery store that we like. So far we have found three! I really like Hy-Vee for produce, frozen food and especially their meat department. I don't think I will buy meat anywhere else. The folks working the butcher counter are incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful.I love that. There's also a liquor store attached to this grocery store.They have a very nice deli as well.We were able to buy some Chiefs items and Royals hats in the fan store inside. That was pretty cool.I think my favorite feature about this store is that they are all employee owned. That's awesome!”

“Had something specific in mind for my son’s funeral and looked at Hyvee late in the day and clerk gave me the florist’s card and suggested I call or speak to her. When I went back the next day, the florist was making exactly what I wanted. When we got to the funeral home, I was astounded at how beautiful it was. “Price chopper pharmacy in Lees Summit is outstanding in customer service! I went in to pick up an Rx on a Friday, but the Dr's office had denied it. Sandy called the office for me, sat on hold, explained the reason to me, then, with the pharmacist's permission, and because she had talked to the office, gave me some BP med to take until I could get an appt. The service is above and beyond!! Thank you Sandy and Price Chopper!!”
“Have you ever called CVS? You wait for them to answer, then deal with the robo-receptionist. Every time I call Genoa, the call is answered on the second ring, 80% of the time by a pharmacist. None of the verification nonsense. It's like they were expecting my call. They always know about a change to my medications, I never need to explain myself. In most instances, my doctor makes a change to my medications, I get a text saying the meds have been shipped before I even leave the doctor's office. I'm truly amazed at how they can pull off that level of service every time. The nicest, most efficient pharmacy staff I have ever dealt with.
I read all the reviews here. Anything negative, I can only guess is that they called CVS by mistake. Genoa is definitely at the top of their game. 10 stars!”
“I've been here about a dozen times in the past couple of years and I've had really good experiences. Kat takes care of me quickly, is super nice, and even thinks of things I didn't think to ask. I appreciate it. I love that everything is so much more automated now, and I'd recommend using those services. They'll request meds from the doc for you, fill them, and text you when they're ready. It beats showing up and having to wait a long time.”
“All of the negative reviews are honestly ridiculous, all just selfish people, only care about me me me, zero empathy or compassion for anyone but themselves. You people have no clue what's happening behind the scenes, nor how to run it, and yet normal people are getting blamed and berated for it. Somehow people still don't understand the Walgreens system is terrible and doesn't work for the employees too. The store is fine, it has its moments and occasional issues just like every other store. To the nasty, selfish people who wrote those, do better, it's not always about you.”
“Not sure about the few negative reviews on here, ive had nothing but positive experiences since switching my prescriptions over from CVS. When there is a line, they get through the customers quickly, opening up three windows if needed. I dont bother going there for my vaccinations, thats what my Dr's office is for.”
“What brought me here was the price of the medication that I needed. It was the lowest price of all the pharmacies in my area. I was pleased to find the staff of this pharmacy to be friendly, patient, accommodating, and compassionate. They went above and beyond for me. They didn't have what I needed in stock, but they got it for me later that day. The other pharmacies I went to said I would have to wait a few days. Very happy and will return.”
“Love the Chinese at Hyvee and highly recommend it. However, there seems to be confusion among the workers as to how the #1/#2 works. #1 is one entree. #2 is two entrees. Does a #1 mean 1 type of entree (eg Orange Chicken) or does it mean only 1 cubby gets filled with Orange chicken? Some workers only fill one cubby if you get a #1. Some workers fill both cubbies if you get a #1 and get only 1 entree type, eg sesame chicken for both. I've been told that a #1 means only one type of entree, and logically I can see how employees get confused and think it means only 1 cubby gets filled.”

“First of all I went to the wrong CVS so I missed my appt. The nurse that was coming back from her lunch was so kind to me and helped we reschedule an appt and said she would ask the Dr if she could work me in. The dr agreed to work me in. The NP name was Jacklyn and I’m sorry I can’t remember the nurses name. But they were both so helpful and kind, it just meant the world to me! Thank you both so much! I will definitely come back to this minute clinic!”

“They are super busy in the pharmacy. They have orders stacked up everywhere. It's kinda crazy how many pills they peddle. But they were very kind and helpful to me.The pharmacy tech asked me how she could help me. I have been trying to get a prescription filled for several months. My insurance company keeps denying the medicine my doctor wants to put me on. I found a coupon online from the manufacturer And thought I would try it here. I have tried it at other locations and it's not worked.The pharmacy tech got together with the pharmacist. They were both very helpful. They did some finagling and were able to get my insurance company to pay for some of the prescription and the coupon to pay for some of it. This meant that I still had a pretty high co-pay but I also saved $1000 on the retail price of the prescription. I am quite pleased!This is a Pharmacy that will go to bat for you. That's hard to find these days. Bravo, 3rd Street CVS.”

“This pharmacy is the best, I am also treated very well and they truly get to know the clients. When I go in there they know who I am and always are very happy to see me. If you get to know the staff like I do I am sure you will feel the same way about them. Please remember they have thousands of clients and this is a very stressful job so when things don’t always go the way you want it may be your doctors office that made the mistake. Last of all they can’t stock every medicine there so be patient if this is something that needs to be ordered and also keep in mind that it may be out of stock due to the pharmaceutical company.”
