“Very friendly and helpful. Service moves quick and they are thorough. For example, very few places I have visited in the past for oil changes took the time to reset the indicator, especially on my older Malibu, which requires pumping the brake pedal a certain number of times after turning on the car. At Rider's, as soon as they pulled the car around, I saw the mechanic do this. It is an archaic way to reset something and not obvious to anyone unless they have worked with this model before AND care enough to actually do it. I really appreciated that.”

“Kind, accommodating, and fair. When my car sprang a coolant leak in the radiator flying down I-70, I was stuck in the middle of nowhere hours from home. Enter Jason, who not only came out to where I was stuck to check out the car on the side of the road, but also personally called the tow company and had them there in 10 minutes after AAA messed up the dispatch causing a 2 hour wait. He then stayed late on a Friday night to make an initial diagnosis and let me know my options. After confirming I needed a new radiator, he personally drove me to McDonalds so I had somewhere safe to wait for a rescue ride home. While I waited for a repair, communication was clear and he provided a quote. Though the repair was done, he allowed me to keep my car at his shop free of charge while I coordinated a return trip from several hours away. When I arrived for pick-up, Jason quipped that the repair had taken him longer than he expected, but that he would happily honor the lower price he quoted me. Before letting me go, he insisted on giving the car one last check over and topping off my coolant. At every step of the way Jason and Jamie were were easy to work with, and their kindness showed through!
There have been some reviews alleging that Jason was discriminatory in some way on the basis of political belief. As a self-identified leftist, this is hard for me to believe. Jason and I happened to have some conversations that touched on politics and religion. While we certainly disagreed and have very different perspectives on the world, we were also readily able to find common ground, especially on the point that we have to be able to get along no matter our differences. I found Jason to be someone that, while certainly not shy about his own beliefs, is able to but differences aside and provide excellent service. I think if you act with respect, Jason will give you that same respect back every time.”

“Bought a cool old car the stupidest way possible: without having it checked by an independent mechanic first because I just had to have it that second. Luckily for me this is a great family run business and the 2 things Jeremiah said needed to be fixed on the car were the exact 2 things my mechanic said needed to be fixed when I finally got it in the shop. Will be coming back here for my next car. Would give extra stars for the cats and dogs on staff if I could because they helped me stay calm through a very big decision.”
