They don’t know what they’re doing in the paint department. I was sold two different finishes and told they’d be the same, but they weren’t and it cost me a lot of time to have to redo it. When I went to exchange for the correct finish, they only had a higher grade can available and wanted to charge me $20 more, adding insult to injury. They’re willing to lose a customer over 20 bucks. Taking my business to Lowe’s.

Legitimately always extremely nice guys working in here. Today I came in just to drop off a UPS package and needed to buy tape and one of the guys just took it and said they’d tape it for me- No biggie. Always awesome service.

They've helped my Grandma and my mom on a lot of stuff. When you tell them I need this, they'll just bring it right to you. They'll bring you right to it. With no exceptions, they are super super nice, and they help where I work las cuellas, definitely, recommend checking out the day if you need any parts

Delivery details on a riding lawnmower wasn’t explained properly as it should have been deliver to Ozark Ace Hardware store to be setup and then delivered, to us but was delivered to us not setup and on two large pallets and we are old folks and haven’t been able to get it off the two sets of pallets so it us sitting in our garage completely useless!

Called them up asking if they could cut a replacement OEM Honda key, they said they could. Went in, and found out they lied! They "can only cut keys from there, because if they make a mistake they have to buy the key off of you." Which seems suspicious.
1. If the make a mistake with a key from there, they still have to pay for the mistake.
2. THEY SAID THEY COULD CUT IT!
Yeah.... they're NOT the place with helpful hardware folks!

After going to my towns ace I came to this location. Immediately felt welcomed and not treated as an inconvenience. A gentleman ended up helping me find the product I needed and it turns out he is the owner. The way I was treated is the reason this store is and will be successful. I don’t like pulling the “I’m a woman” card. But as a woman I often find it frustrating going to hardware stores as I’m often ignored or looked at like I don’t know what I’m talking about. This was absolutely the opposite of this business. I will always recommend this location and from now on will be my go to.

This is an old school hardware store. The employees help you when you walk in and KNOW what they are selling. The best around!

Asked a question about plumbing got completely wrong part and was refused a refund for product due to it being opened.
Very poor service and the owner was extremely rude. If you can go anywhere else I highly recommend you do so.
Harbor Freight would be more knowledgeable than the uneducated they have working here.
Pretty sure it is family owned and family staffed and that would explain a lot about their lack of knowledge in anything construction related.. They view anyone that actually works for a living as less than themselves.
Ace's involvement with people like these should indicate to them that they are completely not in touch with their base.

Above and beyond customer service! I needed some BBQ rub for Sunday ribs last minute..I Googled what time Ace opened, 10am. I thought I was making a trip to Springfield, last min decided to call and see if they had opened earlier or maybe Google was wrong. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jim. Jim told me to come on by and he would take care of me. Jim opened up 1 hour early for me and saved me a trip.! Thanks Jim, I'll definitely be back!
