Alldredge Orchards Event Space is a small orchard and pumpkin patch located six miles south of Platte City, Missouri. It is a great local option convenient to the Northland area, described as a hidden gem. The farm is well kept and organized, with super friendly and nice staff who are great with kids. Prices are reasonable for a great experience. Open weekends in September and October, it offers u-pick apples and pumpkins, a barn store selling local produce and honey, a small cafe with tasty food options, and giant mums and other Fall decorations. The farm has plenty to offer to keep little ones entertained with play areas, a giant slide, animals like goats and chickens, and hayrides. Everything is centrally located with minimal walking and no long lines. It is also dog friendly. The apples, pumpkins, and other Fall fare are accessible, delicious, and beautiful. The orchard is a perfect and delightful fall outing destination for families and hosts fall school tours during the week. Field trips are very well thought out and organized, providing a wonderful visit for kids learning about bees, flowers, animals, and farm life. Parties and events are held throughout the warmer months of the year.

My child's class went on a field trip here. The farm is well kept and organized, the staff was nice, and the apples were beautiful. There's a shop on-site where you can buy local produce, honey, etc. Their chickens were well cared for. The kids had fun.

Hands down the best field trip any of my kids have gone on. Very well thought out, organized, and all of the employees were great with the kids!!!
