“We have been visiting Lee's Summit Animal Hospital for 7 years. We have consistently been provided quality and outstanding care for our dogs and cats. A few of the situations have been critical and they saved our animals:) The doctors and staff go above and beyond with care and compassion. Prices are extremely reasonable! We really can't say enough about this veterinarian clinic and how wonderul it is!:)”
“This was my first visit to this vet My cat was very sick and had been throwing up a lot. My old vet had retired and I wasn't sure where to go so I brought him to Strothertowne. They took such good care of him and made sure he was completely healed before they sent him home. He came home today and he is his old self and feeling great running around like a maniac as usual. I can't say enough good things about Dr Stidley and the entire staff at Strothertowne. They are all so kind and caring and kept me informed and updated on his condition the whole time. IWe will be regular clientz there from now on.”

Heaven was the sweetest & made me feel so comfortable, asked me all the questions needed to prep Dr Shaffer to see me to discuss quality of life for my dog. “My dogs got into a fight leaving one badly injured needing medical attention immediately. Dr Morrison and her staff was quick in action to getting him the care he needed, assuring me of the process and helped calm me down. He ended up having to get 23 staples and multiple trips back to get his wound drained. They were so helpful throughout his two week healing process and my many calls to them for re assurance. All of them went above and beyond for my furbaby. 10/10 recommend for service, quality and price!”
“I can’t express enough gratitude towards this place just loved EVERYTHING abt them if u are someone like me and want natural safe meds & guidance w your pets please go to them …. I left in tears when I got in my car cause i finally found a vet place that truely cares and understands the meaning of keeping our pets healthy not putting them on meds or vax they don’t need !!! “Doctor Doug and his staff took excellent care of our cat Louie. Louie hurt his paw on Christmas morning. Doctor Doug got Louie in on Friday December 26, 2025. We had not been there before he checked Louie out put us at peace. We drove an hour to be seen at this clinic and it was very worth the drive. We have three cats. They now have a new Veterinary! “The BEST veterinarian in Harrisonville, if not Missouri. The whole staff is amazing. Dr. Dimmit is kind and caring, a man that has such a love and passion for animals. He saved my sweet kitty Akasha and takes very good care of my others. Anytime we have concerns he makes time for us like he did today when we found an abandoned kitten that we adopted after she suffered trauma. Don't go anywhere else, Dr. Dimmit is the best of the best. Thank you, doc. You're amazing.”

“basically a zoo owner with 5 pits and 3 sphynx, so I’m here more than I’d like to admit. We’ve had several surgeries here (lac repair, ear hematoma, abscess draining, etc) and never had issues with surgery here. I’ve had great experiences with all the vets, and the front end staff are also amazing! Very understanding and actually feel like they listen to my concerns. I also have a very anxious dog that gets aggressive at the vet and they are great and know how to handle that as well to keep everyone safe. Thankful to have found this team to take care of all my pets!”
