“Everyone I've dealt with at BFS Lee's Summit has went above and beyond to get our deliveries out to the field as quickly as possible. Which, for someone who works for a company that buys a substantial amount of lumber every year, is very important. Their drivers will go the extra mile to put the lumber in the best spot possible. Whether that's in a convenient spot for the framer or somewhere that helps to protect against theft. One of their drivers, Chance, took it upon himself to place an order of exterior trim and siding inside a garage and shut the door so no one driving by would know it was there. Chance could've easily, and a lot more quickly, just set it in the driveway as normal.”

“Had to order a concrete mixer through them, the heart and soul of my business. Their salesman told me 7 days to have it built and shipped to my location. We're now sitting at 28 days, they won't respond to my email asking for an update, and I've lost out on TONS of business due to me taking them at their word. I had to shell out more money to buy a temporary mixer because I couldn't wait any longer, but it produces nowhere near the amount of concrete I need to keep up with demand. They aren't building the mixer, just the middleman, but don't promise something you can't deliver on. Terrible communication on their part and pretty unreliable as it would seem.UPDATE: Brandon, the branch manager at this location, got involved after he found out about this and was very helpful. Gave me a small refund and communicated very well. He assured me this company is much better than the service I received, so hopefully others and potentially me in the future have a far smoother experience than this one.”

“Wow! Ended up beyond expectations! There was an issue with the material which was the manufacturer's fault, by their own rep who came out to inspect. The manufacturer's "solution" didn't satisfy Tin Man so they turned elsewhere & made it more than right. This place defines customer service!”
