Rude clerks, rolled her eyes when I was asking basic questions, very short answered responses as if I should know what to do and I was bothering her by asking. Never had an experience like this with any other credit union or bank.

I have been a member of FCCU for 20+ years. I have had car loans and have encourage family members whom has join also. I had the worst experience today at the Brentwood branch. Went through the drive-thru around 745am to make a withdrawal. I put my wallet size bank bag with my withdrawal slip, id and a cash breakdown slip inside the tube and sent it back. After about 3 mins. the teller appeared on the screen and ask me, what would I like to do? Stunned by the question and not a greeting was said, I said, what to you mean? She stated the question a couple more times with the same respond, what do you mean? I then said I would like to make a withdrawal. At that point she stated that she will look inside the wallet bank bag. Where is the customer service first of all. I know that it was early and usually when you start to conversate with someone you say good morning, hello or something. But if you are not a early person, you need to change shifts with someone who is. Second, why didn't she just check the bag before asking me what would I like to do. She was very rude and not professional at all. Not pleased with my visit at this branch at all.

If you're a new customer looking to finance a vehicle beware of FCCU, just like other crooked businesses they're very sweet about selling you an auto loan, don't be fooled that's where the customer service ends. Who notifies a customer in September that they bought an insurance coverage on their behalf in may, only a fraudulent organization. I received a notice that I needed to provide a proof of insurance, I horridly updated the proof of insurance, but I kept receiving the notice, I got worried and called the bank, hey I have provided my proof of insurance and I was told to ignore the letters that it has been updated. I stopped getting the notification and then in September I noticed additional fee was added to my auto-loan, out of curiosity I called and the support agent apologized that they will fix it. After 2 weeks and it's yet to be fixed I called them back again and that's how I got the shocker that my insurance had a high deductible. My concern, if the bank cared enough to send a bold reminder about updating insurance when the deductible was the concern, why did the same person sending general updates about providing insurance didn't just say " hey your deductible is high kindly lower it" oh yes they will hide under the it was in your contract leverage like they always do. BEWARE!!!! Unlike other banks that would have clearly state the concern they won't, instead they will do enough to meet their legal coverage to keep you in the zone where the can slap you with fine for a concern that you easily would have fixed... BEWARE OF THIS BANK!! It's like SPIRIT, they'll suck you in and leave you hanging.

They will not only charge you for overdrafting, but they will charge you per day that you're overdrafted to no limit. So in the 3 days you might need to get a paycheck to pay off your account, you'll likely owe $80-100 more.They fit well within the definition of kicking people who are already down.Not a financial institution to trust if there's Any chance you'll fall on hard times

Worst service ever! I've been with First Community for many years. When calling someone used to answer the phone in about three rings and answer any question. Now, "There are 25 people ahead of you and your wait time is . . . " They should take some of that advertising money and put it into customer service.

Garbage company. They will give you the runaround and not help at all. Should have banked with an actual banking company. Very disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at this branch. I had to take care of an issue and the branch manager was very kind, she explained everything. I felt like I was one of their richest customers. I will never forget her warmth and expertise in handing my issue. Thank you.

Horrible credit union, was a customer for 10 years and nothing but issues. Currently bank with St. Louis Community Credit Union, have only been with them less than 6 months and they already treat me much better!

Got my auto loan from this branch, staffs were super nice and helpful. Also the APR for auto loan is competitive.

Stop in to talk with them about opening an account. Employees standing around talking to each other. No customers. A very nice young lady showed me to her cube. She didn't seem to have answers to my questions and printed me out 15 pages of stuff to read. Need to find a way to train employees to better serve customers. No feeling that this is the place for me.

After researching different credit unions I decided to choose First Community so far I'm satisfied. They have lots of perks to offer and the customer service at this location has been pleasant. ðŸ‘
