Longest line every time.they never give me the prescription ordered,just some other option laying around.i ordered 3 boxes of my medication and only got 1 after waiting so long.literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to in my entire existence

Was told to wait 15 minutes for a passport photo. 20 minutes later watched the same lady leave the store. If she is the manager that is no good. Don't go here

I had to rush home and post this review. I just left the Walgreens pharmacy at 6733 Clayton RD, 63117 to pick up prescription for family member I take care of. When I gave information to clerk, there was a note on account so she asked the pharmacist Scott, to assist. He looked at it and said, okay give me 30 minutes to fill. What? The doctor called it in on 6/27 and every time I went to pick up the line for the pharmacy was nearly at the front door. He nastily said, it's been available since 6/27, and we put it BACK. So you just have to wait until I get time to fill it. Apparently, customer service is a MYSTERY to him, because he has NONE. Jeez... I might have to switch my aunt's to mail order.

The only reason I contacted this location is because the Truman location was out of stock. It took them 10 minutes to find my name. They’re constantly asking what medication are you looking for as if 90% of the people can pronounce half of these American drugs. On top of that I asked if they have any access to any coupons since my insurance didn’t cover it. The pharmacist replied saying if you have a discount drug card. Not true! The tech at the Truman location had no problem assisting with a drug card with my last order. He didn’t even try. Now I see why this location has 2 star rating!

The staff at this location have either never worked customer service, never been trained in customer service, or don't believe their job requires good customer service skills. A cashier once dropped my change in the hole in her desk and proceeded to tell me I needed to wait until she rang everyone in her line after me before she would retrieve it. Talking on their phone on the clock, inappropriate conversations in front of customers, just unprofessional conduct for a well known retail name. I miss the gentleman who always called me by my first name when he saw me.

Low battery fire alarm - super obnoxious. Seems employees got used to it and don’t notice. It’s in the back of store by fire escape exit door.
I asked the cashier about it and they said they don’t hear it. Suggested it may be motion activated. As i was leaving store it beeped again but no person was anywhere near that door.

The service is fine and I always find what I need, but the outside around the store is a trash dump. I'm surprised that I didn't see any rats.

UPDATE (initial review below). I had to return today because I was given the incorrect quantity. There was a lot of people in line again, and their computers went down. Walgreens needs to get it together! HOWEVER, I am changing my rating from 1/5 to 3/5 because the two employees there, Rico and Kendra, were amazing. Rico helped me with my issue from my previous visit, while Kendra hurried back and forth from the pharmacy to the front of the store to help others check out. Both had positive attitudes and excellent customer service.
Slowest pharmacy experience ever. I stood in line for 25 minutes and saw only 2 people successfully check out during that time. Here on a Wednesday morning and there are 20 people in line. They did pick up the pace eventually. Hopefully this isn't a regular issue.

Ever since Covid, the pharmacy is closed whenever I go. Their two hour lunch makes it worse.

This is without a doubt the worst Walgreens location in the region. I drive double the distance to use a different location. Awful and unprofessional.
