“Love taking a step back in time. Visting Dicks reminded me of the 60s when my grandmother would take me to a Ben Franklin Dime Store in Illinois. Dicks is great memories and great shopping. Love to see the overhead train.”

“I had a great experience going in and shopping around, my only complaint is that some things seemed oddly overpriced. Specifically the children's toy section although that may be from my lack of knowledge on worth of the items, With that said everything was clean and easy to find. I will definitely return.”

“It’s a good place for kids to find something. I took my grandkids there and they got candy, toys, and Tshirts. They were happy. I go here for gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Some stuff is below five dollars and stuff is above 5 dollars. Check it out.”

When you have one customer waiting with only two items, it should probably be more of a priority that you take care of that customer quickly, then go back to whatever management things you were doing with your supervisor or your vendor in the back office-- which is just behind the cash register where the customers can hear what's going on--
Rather than saying you'll be out in just a moment and actually taking multiple minutes...
By the time that I gave up and left, my transaction could have been taken care of two or three times over or more, honestly. My transaction probably would have taken all of thirty seconds... And then they could quickly return to what they were doing.
It wasn't the worst experience ever, but it certainly goes against efficient retail protocol and showing a customer they are valued. Unfortunately today's actions said "what we are currently doing is more important than one waiting customer during a non-busy hour in the store".
I know retail can be stressful (!), but this is one of those easy quick things that could have been taken care of a little bit better. So i'm leaving this review hoping that they take notice and realize its importance. It's a little thing that can add up.
I'm giving this more stars than it probably deserves, because I'm not trying to be mean, but rather point out in area that could use some improvement.”
“Great knowledgeable staff. Helped with buy one get one half off sale right away plus clearance rack. Good deals and friendly workers. Very grateful they’ll keep the boxes. FL shoe outlets never want to keep the boxes and then we end up having to toss them at the condo.”
“There is a specific item I look for thats only sold at DG in my area. This store always has it in stock. The store is ALWAYS clean and aisles are not blocked with pallets of product. The manager there is super friendly and helpful. Even though I live in Branson, I make the drive to Hollister because this store is outstanding! A business is usually reflective of management. Don't ever get rid of your current manager. He's amazing!”

“Now this Dollar Tree has there stuff together. I wentnessed 7 staff employees stocking and another 2 people on the register, This store has everything, I mean in food, the have Nation Hot Dogs! And frozen food's had everything and more then any stores I have been to, and the selection in sweet's 2 full iles and the iles are the longest ones I have been too. 5 Stars out of 5, store has their shit together!!!!”

I cannot say anything negative except that sometimes there's no places for stock to be stored except in the isles, and I know since Julie came back thats getting cleared up. They just don't have back store room space and thus have no choice. But otherwise this is your small town, we know everyone store. Love it.”

“Lots of empty shelf space. Always same story. No merchandise on truck. Staff was friendly and not their fault. Never more than one register open. Convenient if you are at thousand hill resort.”
“Me and my friend is extreme couponers and we came in Sat the 14th in afternoon, was greeted awesome, store was so put together nicely, the man (didn't catch his name) but he looked like a hippy had glasses on(not in a bad way awesome man) he was so friendly, and seemed very welcoming and was helpful to questions about Branson we had. He is a very great worker........and nice store”

“The new manager has done a wonderful job cleaning the store up you can definitely see how hard him and his asst. Christina have worked. Although they are customer service oriented 1 of the employees needs some more training.”
