“Uncharted CrossFit is a great gym! The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and actually pay attention to you, which makes a huge difference. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and the kind of place you look forward to showing up to.
They also run a CrossFit program specifically for kids with Down syndrome, which is such a cool and meaningful part of what they do and shows how much they truly care about their community.
If you’re looking for a place that pushes you while still feeling supportive, this is it.”
“Oct 20, 2018 was the day I set as a goal to walk into Redemention Fitness. I was terrified to be vulnerable with anyone as I was extremely self conscience. The last seven months have been the hardest and most rewarding months I have had. Last weekend I joined my RF family as we conquered the extreme Tough Mudder 2019. You can do this! You can be better! You will do this! You will be better! Best decision I’ve ever made was to trust Mandy. She helped me believe in myself. She knew exactly what exercises to do to get the maximum results I needed to see progress and build self confidence to push harder. You will find every level of fitness at RF. You will find that positive vibe and fellow workout buddies to cheer you along and to support you. You can choose to have private workouts where you get exceptional one on one with Mandy or choose to join the group classes. I thought before walking into RF that I wanted to be an island and hidden away in the back room while I grunted and got all sweaty doing a jumping jack. It’s common as women to want to hide and feel insecure when you first take on the commitment to exercising. I won’t lie, there are many times that I still feel insecure about what I can’t do YET but I’ve come so far from where I was that I don’t want to stop. I want to see what I’m made of, what can I accomplish and how good can I feel. Mandy’s motto with me is: take my hand, I’ll lead, you follow until you can lead then she’ll follow. I’m a more positive person because I invested in myself as much as Mandy invested in me. It’s not just about the physical...it’s about the real, the emotional, the psychological and the OVERCOMING what you were afraid to start.”
