“Great gym. They offer lots of classes at convenient times. Some classes are intense and some are less intense. But they have classes for everyone. From what I see, there are people of all ages. Young people in their 20s and people in their 50s and maybe 60s. The classes are coed with 60-70% women and 30-40% men. Some classes are focused more on the exercise part while others are more fundamentals and technique. But with all classes, you'll get a sweat and some technique too. They also have exercise equipment available for us whenever the gym is open. Some people may not like this comment but a few women do dress what I would argue is inappropriate. So if you're a man who is trying to avoid temptation or lust, be aware that you may encounter it more at this gym compared to another gym like the YMCA or the Heights.”

“I dropped in while in town. This box is run very well! Very easy to sign up and choose a class. The facility is extremely clean and has excellent equipment. As a CrossFit coach, I was most impressed with the coaching. Class was structured very well, with general and specific warmups that left me very ready to hit it in the WOD. Matt Welhaf’s coaching was top notch. He scaled movements effectively for some. He caught a movement fault I wasn’t aware I was doing, and his corrective cue was perfect. I highly recommend CrossFit Happy Streets!”

“Amazing MMA gym. I've been a member for over 6 months, and I cannot speak highly enough of the gym, its members, and its coach, Ray Norris. The gym itself has a very cool, gritty Fight Club feel to it and, if you so choose, you have the option to spar every day after class. The current members are good people, and there is an apparent level of respect and appreciation that is shared between both new and experienced members alike. Regarding Ray Norris, you really cannot hope for a better MMA coach. Highly knowledgeable and experienced in striking, BJJ, and wrestling, he has what you need to develop your skills. Beyond that, Ray is a great guy. Not only does he put a lot of heart into his work, he is direct, honest, and approachable. There is a reason this gym is rated so highly. I've never seen anything quite like it. If you live in the St. Louis area and have an interest in competing in the octagon (which a number of our members do regularly), or just want to learn how to confidently manage yourself in a physical altercation, this is the spot.”

“The gym was great, for the space the gym has it was easy to workout in. The parking is shared with other stores but should not be a problem. The gym was clean, it felt safe, and the equipment was clean. The restrooms were very clean and had a chair in them. I know that sound odd but I travel across country and some gyms do not have one and it is very hard to put your bag down some where in the shower. It's the little things that I notice ? ? ?. If I come back through here I am coming back to workout here.”

Then she stretches you showing you how to do the moves, she also tells you the muscles and areas you are working. I come home and feel so good. “Great lagree studio! I took a class because I was in town for the holidays. Lilly was my coach and she was awesome. I loved her sequence- super challenging. Her playlist was great, and cues were easy to follow.The space itself is beautiful. I love the little motivational words/quotes on the floor. The space was clean and the bathrooms were nice and well stocked. Will definitely be back when I come to town.”

“The staff/instructors were friendly. When you walk in they treat you like family! I loved that they offered 3 free classes (have to use them within 30 days). The price for a membership is reasonable. The spin class was intense but FUN! I can see anyone getting results from a few of those classes. My legs were SORE ? but for the good.While I already have a membership at another gym, I will be back for their classes because they are wayyyyy more fun lol.”

“Went here on a lark when we had a girl's reunion trip and rented a house nearby. One of the girls saw this in the strip mall and I had a lot of attitude about it before we took our first class because of the location. I was WAY wrong. It was awesome. We did a group kick boxing class and our instructor was lovely (I forget her name, sadly) and we had a really fun time. The music was great and Jim (owner) helped us wrap our wrists. I came back the next day and asked if I could do the 7 day pass, retroactively. He said, "absolutely" and made that happen for me. I was really floored at his generosity and awareness. He's a small business owner and could have been strict about that, but was kind, instead knowing we didn't live in the area. Also, he didn't ask me to write this review, I asked on my last day if Google reviews help him and he said, "Yes, they help a lot. Thank you." The facilities are stacked with what you need and the instructors (I took from 3 different ones) were all knowledgable and cared about form/fitness. It was a pleasure. Also, the owner has 2 boxer dogs that are ADORABLE and give you kisses when you're sweating. So, if you don't like kisses and cuddles from fur babies - you are not a well person and this isn't the gym for you! Whenever I come back to STL, I'll for sure stop in for a class. Support local businesses!”
