“Usually at your big box stores you have to wait a long time to get a delivery. Damian only charged me $20 and I live between St. James and Rolla and he was very flexible on the time that I needed to be able to have it delivered in a timely fashion because it was drywall and could not sit overnight and had to be there at the exact moment of the contractors. Not only that, I had ordered two sheets extra, and they picked it up and refunded the two sheets that I didn't need at no charge. Most lumber companies charge a restocking fee and then charge you another fee to come pick it up. The service and the quality are above and beyond what one would expect. Also this is just a really good hometown operation. Anytime I need lumber for a DIY project. Perkins will be my number one choice.”
