About APO Downtown (AIDS Project of the Ozarks - Downtown)
APO is a private, not-for-profit organization, serving a 29-county region in Southwest Missouri. Our purpose is to provide health services and education to the community, with an emphasis on serving under-served and marginalized populations including, but not limited to, persons living with or at risk for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Hepatitis C Virus (HCV), and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI). Services at APO, along with Naloxone (Narcan), free safer sex supplies & education, are provided in a safe, confidential, caring environment.
