“The only problem is access to the internet. You can't ever look up online coupons. I downloaded several Dollar General's online coupons, yet, in every location it is extremely difficult to show clerks during checkout the coupons.
I often shop at Dollar General and usually have a good experience. I appreciate the company and I'm glad to have one in my small town of Pleasant Hope Missouri. I save so much money, by not having to travel 15 miles to get groceries.”
“The one place in town, that the employee's are always friendly and helpful. East Sunshine store is the only one of the 4 or more in town, I shop at. It is always clean and easy to move around the store. If it isn't, it's only because of the delivery trucks coming at the same time.”
“I absolutely love this location! It is always stocked and well organized. The staff is very friendly and can always point me in the right direction. The new manager, Alex is very helpful and knowledgeable. He can always tell me exactly where to find something. He really knows his store. Perfect place for DIY projects, last minute things, or random household items. Store is always clean and easy to navigate. This is my favorite Springfield location. 10/10, would shop here again.”
“It’s a bit sketchy, but usually a DG makes you wait for a very long time until a cashier appears from aisle 14, but never had that here. Staff has always been nice and conversational as well.”

“Dollar General is a quicker option than going to Walmart. Cashiers, are generally friendly. Prices on health and beauty products, cleaning, paper products, etc., are generally lower. I have no issue with shopping at Dollar General.”
“Convenient store located on the outskirts of Springfield. They have all the items a typical Dollar General has but if you are from specific states or areas this one also has something you might not be used to in such stores, alcohol like beer and wine. That was a nice surprise during my stop here and I was able to save a trip elsewhere. They also had everything else I came for in stock. Checkout was simple and quick and the store was not too crowded. Overall, good store.”
“Most things are $1.25 but are smaller than a person would get at a big box store. There are plenty of good deals to find, though. The most of the greeting cards are $1 which is a great deal. There was only one check-out person and the line was long, but the woman was really nice.”

“THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have had the pleasure of shopping at this Dollar General for over a year and from Christian the manager to Adam the assistant manager Molly, Michael and Thomas ALL have been courteous, kind, professional and helpful in assisting me to locate products, ALWAYS friendly and welcoming me into the store with a cheerful smile. The shelves are always stocked, and I have especially noticed their patience when assisting Senior Citizens in processing their orders, does that mean on a rare occasion I may wait just a tad bit longer to get checked out while they are HELPING someone, sure, but NORMALLY they process my shopping order quickly, courteously and professionally, and when I am elderly and disabled I know I’ll get the same kind and patient customer service. Funny as I think of it they all make it seem like I’m entering a huge home pantry with helpers to find what I want.”

“This Dollar General used to be across the street at shopping center. They built a new building caddy corner and has a lot of freezer space. They do not have clothing at this location but it's still one of the busiest in the district. I personally wish they would have built two driveways one off of Valley Water Mill one off of Glenstone. But the interior I feel like the layout.”
“I kind of enjoy just going infor an item and leaving with several. The problem I'm having is someone devised the idea of joining Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, last one I was in had a small section for DT, over 3/4 of total floor space was FD. Not to mention, the selection was not all that great. If FD is selling a similar product, DT doesn't. Here's the deal, if I wanted to shop at FD, I'd go to an FD. So, now when I see a sign for DT, I look to see if it's a combined store. If it is, I'm not stopping. But, to each their own, experience the combined stores and decide, just because I'm not thrilled, doesn't imply you or others will have the same reaction. Just in case you do, let the public know, and that works for pro and con opinions.”
“Well stocked, except for HBA. If it's because of theft, I'd rather they kept makeup etc behind register, instead of having empty racks.Typical employee turnover, but always friendly enough. Workers have a lot to juggle.”
“The others saying the store is messy and disorganized are not completely wrong but Jesus was super helpful to me, helping me find one item that was hidden behind a rolling cart full of items piled high, and also showing me the deals that can be had in their app. Much appreciated! It's not every day that you run into retail employees working in places like this that don't act like they wish they were not there. He seemed genuinely happy to help me out.”
