“Love this store. Ladies that work here are very nice! Some items are 1or 2 dollars higher than Walmart that’s down the road. Some items that are in the $1 section you can find elsewhere for under a dollar. Also do NOT buy the Halloween wigs!!!!!!! I know that they are cheap, only $8 but these are the most cheapest made wigs I have ever seen. Half of the wig has no hair, it’s just strips of hair. You can’t brush the wig because the hair falls off. It’s not even worth a dollar. I wouldn’t take it if they gave it to me for free. I wasn’t expecting much but this shouldn’t even be sold. It’s going back!”
“Love this store! My only major complaints are: always boxes of stock in the aisles and in the way, as well as their new pricing system. Things have stickers with no price, most items that are more than $1.25 are NOT marked at all.”
“This was the absolute cleanest Dollar Tree I have ever been to! Staff was super nice and polite shelves were stocked well and organized neat and tidy, items were not thrown all over the floor, products were organized where they were supposed to be”

I will say, having to ask for the key to the bathroom is totally understandable, but having the employee then walk you to the bathroom and unlock the door and let you in is crazy to me, but it's Springfield, honestly not that surprising. Very nice and clean though as well!!”
“Don't know what you are paying for items until you check out. Some can be $1.25, $1.50, $2, $2.50, etc. no clear pricing. Not the dollar tree I use to know.”
“The store offered a wide variety of Valentine and St Patrick’s day decorations as well as other spring decorations and gardening items.
They also offer a large array of cleaning items, food, crafting, and health supplies.
I was impressed with the amount of items offered and at $1.25 each.”
“The General Store that is considered my "location " is usually a mess. Things I need are rarely or never stocked. I can rarely/ never find help to locate an item or check out. When there are 2 or more customers waiting to check out I start hollering for an employee. I don't want weirdness to start. That should never happen and it scares me. Will not be back!!”
“The one place in town, that the employee's are always friendly and helpful. East Sunshine store is the only one of the 4 or more in town, I shop at. It is always clean and easy to move around the store. If it isn't, it's only because of the delivery trucks coming at the same time.”
“I just visited the store for some basics things for a baby shower. Brandon was so welcoming and so kind. He’s the nicest employee I’ve seen working at any of these stores, frankly, ever. I left the store smiling. I wish everyone would be more like Brandon.”

“Always a good time when you find items that are just as good as other brands for only a $1.25... You definitely have to be careful because some of the items are extremely cheaply made. Like I wouldn't buy tools or anything like that from there but there are a lot of great products for a great price. Staff is usually super friendly and helpful and today they definitely were. I recommend getting things from here, just be cautious about your purchases is all. Love Dollar Tree!!!! Keep it up guys!”
“It just sucks sometimes because stuff is like 5$ sometimes in there so I can't just grab a whole bunch and expect the price to stay low no. Now the price can jump if I'm not looking.”

“Around the corner from my house... they are sometimes a life saver. The staff is always friendly, even though I know it's not always a breeze working for DG. I've never had any issues here and even when it's busy, they are good at stocking, checking, and generally making sure us silly consumers are well taken care of.”

“My very favorite store to shop at. I get about $80 bucks worth of food n drinks here and I get variety and it lasts a while. I love their bread and their chicken chili, and beef chili and their 4pk of Faygo grape 🍇 soda for $1.25 is the best pop and what a deal. I didn't get any Faygo grape pop this month because there was none left on the shelf when I got there. They have a great beauty isle and I love buying all their different wipes for removing makeup, hands, and in the bathroom. I also love their detergent and cleaners they offer. My go to place for a birthday card and gifts too. Their employees are always so patient with me and super friendly.”
“Convenient store located on the outskirts of Springfield. They have all the items a typical Dollar General has but if you are from specific states or areas this one also has something you might not be used to in such stores, alcohol like beer and wine. That was a nice surprise during my stop here and I was able to save a trip elsewhere. They also had everything else I came for in stock. Checkout was simple and quick and the store was not too crowded. Overall, good store.”
“The only problem is access to the internet. You can't ever look up online coupons. I downloaded several Dollar General's online coupons, yet, in every location it is extremely difficult to show clerks during checkout the coupons.
I often shop at Dollar General and usually have a good experience. I appreciate the company and I'm glad to have one in my small town of Pleasant Hope Missouri. I save so much money, by not having to travel 15 miles to get groceries.”
“This was byfar the best Dollar General I've shopped at in Springfield since moving to Springfield over a year ago. Jenny checked us out and she deserves a raise. She was the best cashier. She knows how to bag. She kept the chemicals by themselves. She didn't overload the bags where they would bust open. She needs to train all of your other stores how to do their job. Your other employees were also good. This is our new Dollar General to shop at”
“Cashier was on top of everything. Easily greeting each and every person coming in front door, handled register duties with skill, unflappable and friendly. I just popped in for couple cleaning supplies. Happily surprised at pleasant vibe.”

I have had the pleasure of shopping at this Dollar General for over a year and from Christian the manager to Adam the assistant manager Molly, Michael and Thomas ALL have been courteous, kind, professional and helpful in assisting me to locate products, ALWAYS friendly and welcoming me into the store with a cheerful smile. The shelves are always stocked, and I have especially noticed their patience when assisting Senior Citizens in processing their orders, does that mean on a rare occasion I may wait just a tad bit longer to get checked out while they are HELPING someone, sure, but NORMALLY they process my shopping order quickly, courteously and professionally, and when I am elderly and disabled I know I’ll get the same kind and patient customer service. Funny as I think of it they all make it seem like I’m entering a huge home pantry with helpers to find what I want.”
“I have been to this location many many times and have never gotten quality service but today I stopped in and got some of the best customer service I have ever gotten anywhere from the girl at the front named Callie. She needs a raise asap and made it a wonderful experience”
