“It's the dollar tree, prices have gone up but it's a great place to find cheap stuff. Staff is nice. It's tradition to take my (young) kids to buy their own Christmas gifts for other people.”

“The one place in town, that the employee's are always friendly and helpful. East Sunshine store is the only one of the 4 or more in town, I shop at. It is always clean and easy to move around the store. If it isn't, it's only because of the delivery trucks coming at the same time.”
“All in all, your typical dollar general, definitely one of the cheaper in the area, as well as not too terrible of an area to shop either. I will say, having to ask for the key to the bathroom is totally understandable, but having the employee then walk you to the bathroom and unlock the door and let you in is crazy to me, but it's Springfield, honestly not that surprising. Very nice and clean though as well!!”

“The only problem is access to the internet. You can't ever look up online coupons. I downloaded several Dollar General's online coupons, yet, in every location it is extremely difficult to show clerks during checkout the coupons.
I often shop at Dollar General and usually have a good experience. I appreciate the company and I'm glad to have one in my small town of Pleasant Hope Missouri. I save so much money, by not having to travel 15 miles to get groceries.”
“Convenient store located on the outskirts of Springfield. They have all the items a typical Dollar General has but if you are from specific states or areas this one also has something you might not be used to in such stores, alcohol like beer and wine. That was a nice surprise during my stop here and I was able to save a trip elsewhere. They also had everything else I came for in stock. Checkout was simple and quick and the store was not too crowded. Overall, good store.”
“It’s a bit sketchy, but usually a DG makes you wait for a very long time until a cashier appears from aisle 14, but never had that here. Staff has always been nice and conversational as well.”

“This was byfar the best Dollar General I've shopped at in Springfield since moving to Springfield over a year ago. Jenny checked us out and she deserves a raise. She was the best cashier. She knows how to bag. She kept the chemicals by themselves. She didn't overload the bags where they would bust open. She needs to train all of your other stores how to do their job. “The Dollar tree on glenstone by the neighborhood market is amazing. I have a dollar tree closer to me yet I drive to this location becouse they are stocked with the items I need plus the customer service is always awesome. The store is clean and organized. I used to manage places so I have a habit of noticing things. This store has been my home store for along time now. Thank you everyone at this store for being awesome!!!”
“Washrooms could be cleaner but great place to find thank-you cards. The floors are comfortable to walk on. Easy to open doors. Pleasant employees that don’t say much.”

“THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have had the pleasure of shopping at this Dollar General for over a year and from Christian the manager to Adam the assistant manager Molly, Michael and Thomas ALL have been courteous, kind, professional and helpful in assisting me to locate products, ALWAYS friendly and welcoming me into the store with a cheerful smile. The shelves are always stocked, and I have especially noticed their patience when assisting Senior Citizens in processing their orders, does that mean on a rare occasion I may wait just a tad bit longer to get checked out while they are HELPING someone, sure, but NORMALLY they process my shopping order quickly, courteously and professionally, and when I am elderly and disabled I know I’ll get the same kind and patient customer service. Funny as I think of it they all make it seem like I’m entering a huge home pantry with helpers to find what I want.”

She runs a tight ship — the store is always clean, well-stocked, and organized. You can tell she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the customer experience.

“Makes me happy to know there are other retailers. If bigger businesses were to take an example from DG's customer relations, their business would flourish emencely. Where as if DG were to take notes on the bigger businesses, there's always the thought of want not need not.”
“This is a newer store so it's definitely a lot of different things. Very neat and organized. The only thing that I would possibly complain about is that since the prices have recently got some prices did not so there needs to be a distinct label of some sort that says the price.”

“Love this store! My only major complaints are: always boxes of stock in the aisles and in the way, as well as their new pricing system. Things have stickers with no price, most items that are more than $1.25 are NOT marked at all.”
