“Nice rooms with little kitchen that had a microwave, hob, fridge. Clean, good beds, and the hotel is close to highway interchange. Lots of shops in the area and fast food but not much else going on.
Same as everyone else has said, the lifting very slow and only one lift, ask for a ground floor room if possible”

“Room was clean. No odors or bugs. Both the evening staff and morning breakfast staff were very professional and polite. Give them a raise! Pool was warm and clean and the kids loved it. Breakfast had great options and was clean throughout both the service and eating areas. We'll probably visit again next time we come down to see more caves!”

“We only had a one night stay, but were happy with our choice. The hotel is well maintained, comfortable, and seemed exceptionally clean. I think the staff here are the real stars, though! Every staff member we encountered, from check-in, to breakfast service, to check-out, was friendly and professional. I made a special request at booking to see if they could do a little something to help surprise my wife as we were there on our anniversary and they exceeded my expectations! They decorated the room and made our stay feel extra special! Their effort felt genuine and was truly appreciated! I definitely recommend staying here if in the area!”
“From the moment I arrived everything exceeded my expectations! The staff are incredibly kind and treat you really as if you are a loved friend or family member. The carriage house and main house were beautiful, clean and right out of a charles dickens novel, full of rich history. The breakfast was out of this world and I will absolutely be returning!! “Great stay! Spent 2 nights here. I have to mention Angel and Brianna at the front desk. Two of the nicest and friendliest people! I had a few questions and they both ganged up on me (in a good way!) with their help. Hotel renovations feel fresh. Everything is clean, comfortable, and what you should expect. Breakfast was std; certainly nothing special. The only minus is that it can get noisy with the traffic (especially motorcycles) on 2 very busy roads/hwys nearby. Regardless, the staff really makes this place go with Angel and Bri making it special. Well done!!”

“I recently stayed at Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield Medical District and had a great experience. I was in town unexpectedly and needed a comfortable place to stay while handling a last-minute meeting, and the staff made everything incredibly easy.
Jamie at the front desk was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. She made sure I had everything I needed and really went above and beyond to make me feel taken care of.
Susan, the general manager, was also wonderful and very accommodating. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in running a great hotel.
The hotel itself was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the customer service truly stood out. I really appreciated the hospitality and would absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in the area.”

“Hotel Vanderbilt (Hotel V) in Springfield is hands down one of our favorite places to stay — and honestly, one of our favorite places to be. From the moment you walk in, the lighting alone deserves its own shoutout. It’s bright, warm, and intentional — the kind of lighting that makes everything look good and makes it an absolute dream for vlogging and content creation. If you’re someone who films, photographs, or just appreciates beautiful spaces, this place delivers every single time.
The rooms are always spotless. Like, impressively clean. Every stay feels fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully done. And the views? So good. You get that perfect mix of city energy and calm, which makes mornings slow and cozy and nights feel exciting.
One of the biggest perks is the location. You can literally walk to everything. Restaurants, nightlife, coffee, entertainment — it’s all right there. My husband and I make it a point to frequent Hotel V because it’s just easy, fun, and consistently excellent. It’s our go-to for date nights and nights out when we want to feel like we actually got away without leaving town.
Now let’s talk about the food and drinks — do not sleep on their menu. It may be small, but it’s intentional, fresh, and so well done. The drinks are unique, the food is creative, and everything tastes like it was made with care. You can tell quality matters here. One of my favorite things about Hotel V is how much they support local farmers and work to incorporate local ingredients into their offerings. That commitment to local businesses and community really shows, and it makes the experience even better.
Between the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the walkability, the food, the drinks, and the overall vibe, Hotel Vanderbilt earns a 10 out of 10 from us every single time. It’s classy without being stuffy, fun without being chaotic, and welcoming in a way that keeps us coming back again and again. Truly our favorite spot in Springfield for date night, nightlife, and a little escape.

“Very convenient location in Springfield as well as great rooms and service. Morning breakfast is the standard hotel breakfast food selection. And they don't charge a parking fee like the Residence Inn does.”
“Not a 5 star hotel for sure, but we chose it for the convenience of being on the ground floor with our 2 dogs. The plus was that it didn't smell like dog cleaning detergent like the other Best Western we stayed at. The rooms definitely could use updating but overall they were clean and for an overnight stop it was fine.”

“Stayed for the night after a day of orientation at MoState. It was a nice clean room after an exhausting day.The bed was very comfy. Room is small like others said . There is really no counter top space in the bathroom! So if you have a female who has lots of makeup and products that will definitely be a problem. The street traffic is very loud. But didnt bother me to much. I would definitely stay again.”

The Best Budget Inn Springfield is exactly what you expect from a budget motel, and that’s not a bad thing. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked the way it was supposed to. No weird surprises, no nonsense, just a straightforward place to rest.
Check-in was easy, the staff was polite, and the property felt quiet and safe. Wi-Fi worked fine, air conditioning did its job, and the room was cleaner than I expected for the price point. You can tell they focus on the basics, and honestly, that’s all most travelers really need.
If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for decent value, a comfortable bed, and a place that doesn’t create problems for guests, this place delivers. I’d stay here again without hesitation”

“The rooms are okay and decent, with a good amount of space. They have heaters and AC, as well as TVs, refrigerators, and microwaves. The bathroom is decent for taking a good shower. The cleaning ladies are hardworking. The cafeteria serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kitchen staff is okay. Ms. Julie is a very nice and super helpful lady. If you need information on your ticket meals provided by Prime, she can help. If you have any issues, I highly recommend speaking to her.”

“I stayed here for one night, but I was very impressed with the clerk that checked me in. I had messed up my booking through Expedia and could not get any help through Expedia, but the check-in clerk literally saved my day and fixed everything so I was able to stay there that night with no issues. I was just so impressed with the attitude of the clerk. They were so nice. I feel like the hotel could use a little bit of a facelift, but the rooms are very, very clean and comfortable.”

“The front desk clerk, Jenni i believe is her name, was very friendly and very helpful. We had a family emergency and my mom was admitted to the hospital in Springfield, hence the last minute stay. She was very accommodating, sympathetic, helpful, and so sweet. We were having a rough night, but she made everything so much easier. Jenni if you are reading this, thank you so much for everything.”

“This isnt motel 6 anymore its economy inn . It was kinda hard to find because of gps but i grew uo in this town so kind knew the aera.. the rooms are super clean up to date . Cold ac huge fridge and microwave it was pleasant here coukd possibly be a long term stay here but you cant grill out on the property the staff are cool im sure w person could work something out or eventually they will have spots to cook at . Same hotel different vibe id definitely return here while pass trough if you made it this far dont book on line call this hotel make a reservation dont use booking apps save yourself a headache”

“I was greeted right when I walked in the door. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was good. The writing on the air conditioner is worn off so you had to guess what you were doing, but got it after a minute or two. Shower was hot and wate pressure was nice. Door lock was having issues, but got it when pushing the door in. There should be a plug in by the desk, but I just pulled out the TV stand and used the power strip. Bed was very comfortable. Check out was quick! I would recommend this place.”

“This is a nice hotel with an indoor pool. The elevators were a bit frustrating due to there only being two, and your room may be quite far from them...as ours was. Open floor plan may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The bakery had some delicious desserts!”
