“Lots of antique items. Great atmosphere. Good prices. Great staff. I saw several vendors updating their booths, today. That's a good sign. It indicates that the vendors are active and items are selling.”
“It was a cute shop the staff was super friendly and took extra care to make sure that the items we bought were wrapped to keep them safe. There was a good selection of antiques with a few junk store booths mixed in. Overall I would go back again if we were ever in the area.”
“Found this place on a whim with my boyfriend and was throughly pleased! The lady worker at the front was super nice, let us know about the deals of the day, and was helpful for finding the things I was looking for! She also has a rescue poodle dog named Ruby who was just the sweetest dog ever and made the whole experience even more than a 10/10! I got a super cute pair of shorts and will be coming back again next time I'm in Springfield!”
“I had a great experience and will definitely be back again, I believe this is a family owned business who also owns the food truck in the lot out front- I haven’t tried yet but have heard great things. When we arrived we were greeted by a very sweet lady who helped us, asked if there was anything we were looking for ( we were just looking around for some unique antiques at the time so no help was needed and we continued around the store) we then met Layla which is the stores watchdog ? she has the biggest personality and assisted us throughout the store with a few stops for some pets. You hardly see people still motivated to work during this hard time- let alone be kind. Which is all we experienced here.”
“Plaid Door is a boutique resale shop benefiting the nonprofit Junior League of Springfield. They typically offer one or two sale days a month and occasional pop-up shops at locations and events around Springfield. You get high quality, often designer brands and sometimes new with tags, for pennies on the dollar. Highly recommend plus you're helping a community organization. They sell primarily only women's clothing and accessories. Currently co-located with the Boy Scouts of America at 1616 S. Eastgate Ave.”
“I have been to other Other Mother's in a different state and I was so glad to find this one, it being the nicest one. It is very clean organized and good quality stuff! I will definitely be back!”
“Guy who owns this place is great, and super knowledgeable. If you decide to visit, be sure to give him a call before hand to make sure he is open.
Prices are fair and he will answer any questions you might have. Super cool owner, super cool place, can't recommend enough.”
“There is nothing like this place. Such a GEM! Amazing finds and fair prices; I always find something when I come to Hakaar’s. Lauren and Vinnie are so personable and ridiculously knowledgeable of their treasures. It’s a must go if you’re into curated vintage and antique home goods, furniture and clothing.”
