“Ken at this location was amazing and went above and beyond in my opinion! I chose this Auto Zone location because it scored highest on Yelp compared to the other two nearby locations. I have a 2015 Camry with headlight covers so worn that it's hard to see at night on dark roads (unless using bright setting). I can get the headlamp assembly replacements for roughly $100 online but two different shops quoted me roughly $350 for labor (due to necessity of removing bumper). Ken came out to my car to see how much is actually involved to reach the headlight assemblies. He brought out his ratchet set. He spent enough time to give a reasonable estimate of 1.5 hours total for the entire job. So, $350 definitely sounds overpriced! I can see why this location has such a high customer service rating. (I will mention that the other young man, who actually rang up the reasonably priced restorer kit Ken suggested - $15! - was not very personable, but Ken more than made up for that, so I am going with 5 stars!”

“CARSTAR did a beautiful job fixing my Honda Pilot after I tangled with a semi. There was a lot of front end damage, side mirror torn off, as well as rear quarter panel damage. They scheduled my repairs a few weeks after the estimate, allowing time for parts to arrive, which decreased my rental car costs. The customer service and communication was great. They got my car done quickly (2-1/2 weeks) and even had the rental car company pick me up there so I didn’t have to arrange my own ride. The car looks like new. The paint matches perfectly. They really made an unfortunate situation as painless as possible. I would definitely recommend them.”

“We had encountered a very noticeable stain on our front passenger leather seat in which previous attempts with three separate companies to repair it, proved to no avail. The last company informed us that our only option was to replace the whole leather cover on the base of the seat which would be significantly more expensive & led us to file an insurance claim. Our insurance company directed us to Excel who ordered the necessary parts & completed the job in roughly a day and a half. The best achievement is that the end result looks like nothing ever happened, which is exactly what occurred. Excellent quality & service. They even washed our car & did a very good job of it. These guys are the "real deal" & would definitely recommend them”

“Woke up this morning with a dead battery Got to jump left the car running for an hour came out for 5 hours later after I turned it off and it's dead..Stop by the O'Reilly's on West Clay Spencer helped me determine that the battery was bad and find a replacement..I'm COPD and oxygen challenged so when I was coming in with the old batteries Spencer saw I was breathing heavy and asked if he could help I said God bless you thank you very much.. Not only did he help he pretty much finished the job because my breathing was not good.. Spend couple of thousand dollars with Roadside assistance and Love’s shops and still couldn’t figure out the problem until I got to Vanguard of St. Charles. Spoke to Robert, he was really friendly.
