““The Cold Never Bothered Them Anyway”
I spent an hour sitting on the side of the road in the kind of freezing cold that makes you question every life choice you’ve ever made—including not keeping a spare blanket or emotional support space heater in the car. By the time I got to O’Reilly’s, I was basically a popsicle with car keys.
But the crew tonight? Absolute legends.
First up: Kevin.
This man—who openly admitted he’s anemic—still marched out into the icy tundra of the parking lot like a true warrior. Meanwhile, I’m fully bundled, teeth chattering, and he’s out there acting like the cold is just an optional suggestion from Mother Nature. Give that man a medal. Or at least a heated vest.
Then there was Noah, who I’m now convinced might actually be some kind of automotive guru or wizard in disguise. Before I could finish saying “my car won’t—” he had the hood up, battery swapped, cables checked, and everything humming like nothing ever happened. I swear I saw a faint glow around him, like he was channeling the ancient spirits of Car Batteries Past.
Between Kevin risking hypothermia and Noah fixing things at the speed of light, they had me back on the road in no time.
If I could give them six stars, I would. If I could adopt them as my roadside guardians, I’d do that too.
O’Reilly’s, please give these guys a raise, a bonus, a cake—something.

“This is in my humble opinion the best place in St. Louis to get batteries. It's a bit of a maze to get to, however, the prices are very reasonable and the quality seems just as good as you can get at an auto parts store. It seems like they have everything you could hope for in stock. I've always had good service. This isn't really a retail location, so don't expect fancy floors and lighting. It's really just a warehouse of batteries.”

“We came here at night time to get a head light to replace my right front head light that was out. My boyfriend read through the book that listed what part for which type of car. The cashier person was busy helping someone else for a while. I am glad that my boyfriend can search up for the type of headlight that my car need. We then check out and my boyfriend changed the headlight of my car in less than two minutes. The headlight works great. Overall this place has what we needed and there are plenty of parking in the parking lot.”
