I am shocked by the number of positive reviews here as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and one that cost me more money. This company does not EVER follow up with anyone. I contacted them after receiving an ad in the mail (they had not even begun construction in my area). I asked for an ETA and could not be provided one. I was told to sign up and then I would get updates, but those never happened. I tried to follow up when construction started and was promised a call back but that never happened either. Finally, they contacted me to set up service and I coordinated the change to make sure that (I had Spectrum internet) the switch went smoothly. Then on the day of install, they get no signal at my home. Supposedly it was because construction was not truly complete. So, I had to call Spectrum back to pay an install fee and now a higher monthly fee for internet service. Gateway promised me an update later in that day and said they would give me my first 3 months free to compensate. However, nearly two weeks from that day and per usual; there has been NO follow up from Gateway. I called today and was asked to hold for a supervisor and the associate simply hung up on me.

They have had my yard and our subdivision torn up for 6 months and nothing but the run around from them about when they are going to finish it.The work they have completed is substandard, and the finish work is horrible.

The guys were great! Communication was there letting me know everything they were doing. Also took the time after to show me how the app works. Amazing customer service!

They dont hire local people. The ones they do hire leave trash in your yard. They tear up the grass and just throw straw down without seed.

Installation was a painful experience. If you are getting installed in a home request the fiber be run through PVC conduit to avoid damage when the yard is aerated.

I just had my fiber internet installed and it was GREAT. The installer, David B, was outstanding. Very friendly and respectful of the property. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Gateway Fiber and David B. Oh yeah, and the internet is FAST!!!

I haven't quite had the service for a month yet. But, it's been very solid and reliable. The installation was quick and easy and the service is a lot more consistent than spectrum I'll say that again lol.

Did a great job installing. Though the tech analysts showed up right at the very end of the window, which regardless of the fact that "that's what every service company does.."... it's the only reason I didn't give five stars. If you want to be the best, separate yourself from the rest.

They are the worst company to deal with they cut my water line and my telephone in my yard when they when they were putting in their stupid cable we already have the best Internet you can get.

Aaron Young was the man of the hour, after a couple calls to GATEWAY FIBER and a visit by another technician no one could figure out my dilemma, Aaron found the problem which actually was my old computer, told me what to buy, thanks Aaron ?.

We had Gateway Fiber installed in August and so far the connectivity and consistency has been very good. The only problem has been with getting them to correct the installation issue that's been there since August. The technicians opened the lid to the large junction box in our yard and left the lid loose, which has created a potential safety issue, as it's inches from a busy sidewalk. I've called four times to request this be fixed and have also submitted an online request yet the problem remains. With this lack of response, I'm worried what kind of service I'll get if my Internet goes down.

Perfect so far. The installer, Jose, did a great job. Install was clean and tidy. He even worked hard to solve a problem with our router.
