If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The guy we spoke to gave us fantastic recommendations for place to see while we were visiting. He was also super helpful with getting the most out of our short term car rental.

Worst Avis experience I’ve ever had. They should just close this location. Arrive 12/23 and there is a line of 30-40 people in the preferred line and one person working. The app doesn’t work at all at this location so has to stand in line to be told no cars. Even though every one had reservations. Never got any notice from Avis. I called customer service and was told they couldn’t do anything. Finally after waiting I got a pickup truck that had been returned. Not even close to the car I reserved. On return yesterday, there were hundreds of cars lined up for return and no sign of anyone checking people back in. Again, line out the door people trying to get help. Tried checking in on the app and of course it didn’t work. I had to get to the terminal so left the car there with keys and it’s still not showing it’s been checked in a day later. I’m a lifelong Avis customer but after this experience I will be renting elsewhere.

I almost never give 1 star reviews, but I've not had a good experience at all from the time I went to pick up the car until after returning it.First of all, I paid in advance for a rental car on their website, which listed several available cars on the lot. I was thinking that I needed to just sign some paperwork and pick up the already prepared car. When I got to the rental agency they told me they didn't have any cars available and I would have to go all the way to Lambert airport to get a car, if they have an available car. When I refused and asked for a refund, the teller finally offered me an upgrade, but the car was dirty and I had to clean it myself before I felt comfortable driving it.After I returned the car I asked the teller how I would be refunded the down payment, he told me it would go back into my account within a few days. A few weeks later I checked my account and I had not received any down payment and the customer service rep told me it wasn't refundable.Not only has Avis been unorganized the entirety of the time I've had the car rental, but also the amount of hidden fees and charges they tack on the bill is ridiculous!! I wanted to give Avis the benefit of the doubt for their car rental even after reading the bad reviews, but I was far from wrong to trust this place!I had a much better experience going through Enterprise and even though they have higher prices I at least know they'll take care of me as a customer, they have quality service, and I won't EVER have to go through this headache FIRST AND LAST TIME GOING THROUGH AVIS!!

Double check your gas! I was completely empty and did not realize it…I could have easily run out of gas on the highway. I was not reimbursed for the $45 I paid to fill it up.Pic is of the FULL mark…with no blue, just white line it looked full on pickup.

This place is really nice. I always have great service here and a great time because of the very nice staff and customer service they offer and help. Gotta love this place always come back ill keep coming back as a return customer for sure great times man! Clean

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!My husband and I needed a car to move from STL. We booked online in advance for 1 to 2 days of a full rental. After waiting SEVERAL hours on moving day to even pickup our rental-Someone messed up our reservation and booked and charged us for 11 days worth of renting! This happened in office and it took weeks to have the hold removed from our card due to Avis' error. Today, we received noticed from COLLECTIONS that they sent their fraudulent bill for us to pay! We have extensive proof that the error is not our fault, but from the people that work at this location. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

very slow service. It should NOT take an hour to drop off and pick up a rental, ever. They were very adamant about the car being clean but when I got in my rental, it had french fries in the car seat.. LOL. Mediocre service AT best.

The lady at the front desk was super nice, but it took more than 30 minutes with here because the computer crashed multiple times. In addition to that, the car was not clean from the inside and there was no window wiper cleaner liquid in the car.

They really need to fire that lady Jacqueline, she’s extremely incompetent and don’t think she has good vision so she can’t see the screen. What should have been a quick pick up ended up being one hour back and forth. She told me to call customer service in the store, WHY DO I NEED TO DO THIS WHEN YOU WORK AT THE STORE. UNTIL SHE IS FIRED DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!

Avis/Budget changed their credit card policy, but didn't update customers with active reservations pending. Almost ruined my trip to STL. Thank God for Uber!!!

Avis/Budget is extremely poor in keeping their vehicles clean. Upon pick up it was super dirty inside and out. Plus no windshield washing liquid. This is twice I rented and never again.
