Had the worst experience today. My husband was very poorly treated by the representative. He doesn't remember her name but she was working on 11/5/23 at 12pm. She is of African American decent. She was extremely rude in every way. She told him that they don't take credit one Credit cards and in no way shape or form did she show any sign of empathy or kindness for the extreme inconvenience this caused us. We called the 1800 number and they stated that there is zero reason for them not to accept the card. My husband received a free rental and a $50 off coupon for the inconvenience. However that doesn't make up for how poorly she acted in the situation. It doesn't make up for the fact that she caused us much distress for seemingly not wanting to do her job. I am now driving my husband 3 hours away ( after just having 4 teeth pulled) so he can be where he is needed to care for his mother elderly just had a stroke. To say we were just inconvenienced is an under statement. Lastly, if this office has decided not to take credit one credit cards and even the customer service number is unaware, they need this posted, prior to making a reservation, not after the damn fact. Poor poor poor customer service all around

I have been to this location on multiple occasions and continue to give them the benefit of the doubt but this place will no longer get out business. The events include1. A car that smelled and was covered in dog hair that was not cleaned before giving it to us and when mentioned no one cared but I made them make note as I was not going to be charged their fees for someone mess2. Constantly told to sit and wait when there is no one in sight and cars in the lot3. Most recently showed for my appointment time and was the only one in the place. Taken over 40 minutes to get us a car as they claim none were cleaned the night before.They have now made us late for multiple appointments as they can’t seem to get a car to us in less than 40-45 min even without anyone present besides us as customers. I had an appointment scheduled for an hour after the time of pick up and they still made me late.4. They never look at the car they just hand it to you and never look at it with you to ensure you won’t be charged for damages. I’ve taken photos of the cars every time I get them to have proofIt has gotten to the point where it is not even worth the savings of using the Costco discount of how horrid this place is run. Go to any other location as they don’t care about their customers.

Do not rent from them!!They will charge you for extra miles that you didn't use. I was charged $212 for what was supposed to be under $100. I called and spoke to Luke who wouldn't help me saying anything after 48 hours they can't do anything and I'd have to talk to customer service. However, the extra charges on my card were applied after 48 hours! Ridiculous!Then when trying to talk to the customer service person overseas, I couldn't understand the lady. To the point of her hanging up on me.Incredibly unsatisfied with the quality of service on top of Budget stealing from me!And by the looks of it, Budget doesn't care because they don't respond to reviews.

A very unprofessional Avis location the owner or the gentleman that checks people in for their reservation had the rudest attitude when I came to check in for my appointment. The gentleman was unreasonable and was being argumentative over having 2 drivers being listed. I will never use this location again. I'll just continue to use the Lamber location.

NO IDEA why others had issues. I booked online before I even read reviews. I was little nervous before I went to pick up the car after reading some of the negative comments. I can honestly say I had zero issues. There were a couple options in the size of vehicle I paid for. Staff was friendly and I had no problems picking up or returning. Car was really nice, clean, new, less than 13K miles. I would use them again!

Rented from here February 2023. Car was not ready at the time I reserved. They scanned my ID and their scanner wouldn't read it. Then they needed a piece of mail to prove my mailing address. When I showed up to return the car, the only employee was too busy cleaning up another car to take the keys. It was the strangest rental car experience I have had. I wouldn't go back. Find another place.

Steve and Luke are both unpleasant and uncomfortable to work with. They're overbearing and can't comprehend customer service. Two narcissists whom talk at you yet do not listen. Communication catastrophe! Their vehicles are routinely stolen and they take frustration out on unsuspecting solicitors. I won't patronize ever again

The older man working the counter was very rude and degrading, made me feel very unwelcome. I said “ I hope you’re having a great day, and he just said it’s been one difficult customer after another” and proceeded to glare at me after I was asking if I could use a debit card instead of a credit card because mine had been stolen

We picked up a car today. My husband called me and told me it was filthy. Since we were in a hurry, I told him we’d deal with it. After a LOT of wet wipes i was comfortable enough to start our road trip. So gross.$168 (taxes incl) for a day rental with different drop off. Price was fair IMO so giving two stars instead of one.

Where to start? Rarely can you get an actual person on the phone, when you do they are about as helpful as a pothole. What we are finding to be consistent with this company is that you can depend on not being able to depend on them. We have have made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt year after year only to be disappointed. We have reserved a specific car, months in advance, and fully aware that there could be a comparable offered and the "comparable " is NOT EVEN close and they couldn't possibly care less. Doesn't matter if it's your vacation, or that you had to take an Uber way out of your way in order to get the specific car you reserved, then to get there only to be disappointed that the car isn't close to what you reserved.

The vehicle had two bald tires and we had to purchase a new wiper blade as well as windshield wiper fluid. The representative there said we would be compensated a full day for the trouble. Not only were we not comped the day I received an additional charge a week later. I was told there was nothing there location could do and to call customer service. Horrible experience.

If I could give zero stars, I would. SCAM! The "owner" of this establishment is absolutely horrible! The vehicle wasn't ready when we got there and we had to wait 45+ mins. It was dirty on the inside and the outside was very poorly washed. I'm pretty sure my 6 year old could've performed a better job at cleaning. The vehicle wasn't full of fuel, it was below a half of tank and then tried arguing with me about me needing to fill it when it was returned. ‼ THE MILEAGE ON THE PAPER I GOT WHEN I LEFT WITH THE CAR DID NOT MATCH THE ACTUAL MILEAGE ON THE CAR AND THE MILEAGE ON THE PAPER I RECEIVED WHEN I RETURNED THE CAR DID NOT MATCH EITHER. ‼I left with the car, went to a restaurant, ate my food, got back in the car and it had an oil light on. This is generally meaning you're low or out of oil. How was I supposed to drive this car on my vacation and then it run out of oil and blow up? Then I'd be responsible for that. I returned the car immediately and just wanted my money back at this point. The man argued with me saying they were charging me $9.99 a gallon to fill the car up to the point it was before (a total ending up of $24.35) and that they were not refunding all my money. I HAD TO PAY $154.66 TO PICK UP A CAR, DRIVE DOWN THE ROAD, AND BRING IT BACK. $154.66 for 1 1/2 hours and 32 MILES TOTAL. His paperwork claims I drove 2,089 miles in the little time I had the car. Explain that.

I reserved a car online thinking I would get a Volkswagen Jetta. I was not given this car upon arrival and the individual helping me acted aloof about my reservation. I was given a jeep with significant body damage, a wobbling axle, and half a tank of gas. I later returned the car with a full tank of gas and was accused of stealing the car because budget staff did not check the return box. This was by far my worst car rental experience.

This is an incredibly slow location. There's 1 guy that does everything. Check in. Wash cars. Return cars. Etc. He told me he doesn't want to hire another guy to help because it would be a waste of 8 dollars an hour. When you wait over an hour to both pick up and return your car you'll quickly see how ridiculous this is.
