Online offer of 6400.00 and in person was 3500.00. said turbo not engaging. Took car to my mechanic and he said if that was true the check engine lite would have been on. Also would have registered a code . They ran a diagnostic and found no codes or issues with turbo. I believe CarMax just tried to low ball me once they got me in there. Personal was courteous though.

Couldn't be happier with our experience with Car Max. We were dealing with a low offer from the dealer on a trade in on a new car and had already done our homework on the value of our trade in. When they wouldn't give us what we knew it was worth, and said they didn't think we'd get it here either, we had to give it a shot. Having never done it before we didn't know what to expect. However, I was shocked at how efficient they handled everything. From the time I walked in the door until leaving with my check was less than an hour. The price they gave me matched exactly what the offer was on line, and we were honest about the condition of our car. We take great care of our vehicles, our grandson details them, so we knew it was in excellent condition. We were worried that might be an issue, but they agreed with our rating and everything went perfectly. They were very pleasant and professional and everyone there was very friendly.

This is my second time at this location. It was even easier this time around, it felt like it took a little longer for my vehicle to arrive this time, I blame snowmageddon, but the "tracker" wasn't super helpful when it was stuck at sever different hubs for 3+ days each. Weather had cleared and it still wasn't moving for several days.
Staff were friendly and were less pushy about "addons/upgrades" which was much more pleasant than my first time.
I was stuffed up when I went to pickup and did not realize the car had a slight smoke smell to it till someone told me a few days later, a little disappointed in that. I know it will fade over time but yeah.
Overall an okay experience, I would come back in the future.

I had a phenomenal experience purchasing a car at carmax! The entire carmax team is kind and easy to deal with. They make the entire process so convenient for the buyer. Cam was the sales associate that assisted me and he was incredible. He was attentive and kept me up to date on the status of the car I wanted to purchase as it was not quite ready for purchase when I looked at it. I came back up the day after buying a car to resolve a sales tax credit issue and their team once again made the process seamless for me. They washed the car again when I was up fixing the sales tax issue and even offered to fill up the car with gas again just for the inconvenience. Cam was so helpful and kind throughout it all. I can’t say enough good things about Cam and my experience with carmax. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a quality used car to search here!

Purchased my car here last year and I am very happy with it. It was a painless buying experience. I searched online, found the car I wanted which was in OH so I had to pay $199 to have it shipped here. Once arrived I test drove it for 24 hours and purchased my car. Sales person was nice and not pushy (I did forget his name because I waited a year to do this review) Why 4 stars, well, I questioned the rust on my rotors when I looked at the car, they said it was from traveling and it would wear off, well its been a year and the rust is still there. Also, they did not "detail" the car before I bought it, and well after my 24 hour test drive I thought they would take it away, detail it while I signed the papers, but they didn't I was disappointed about that. So would I buy from them again? Probably but I would also tell them to detail my car and make sure it is clean and no rust on the rotors.
