“OMG..I can not say enough great things about this store! MUAH MUAH MUAH (kisses)!! This time I tried the Chicken Spedini and the Veal Spedini. In LOVE! I can not wait to get back there and shop some more! YUM!”

“I absolutely loved shopping at this meat market when I lived in St. Louis. The butchers were always friendly, knew their stuff, and the meat packages were priced really well for the quality you got. They had a great selection, and it was one of those places you could count on every time.
Since moving away, I honestly haven’t found another market that comes close. St. Louis locals really have something special there and should definitely appreciate it.”

“The andouille sausage is the best that I've had from anywhere! First time in today and the people were so nice too. It's nice buying from a local company and good people. Thanks again”
“The two young men working on Saturday the 31st of January were extremely and helpful. Great customer service. Baumanns It’s very lucky to have touch great young gentlemen’s”
“I was a little skeptical about switching from pork sausage to chicken sausage. This product exceeded my expectations. It’s juicy, well seasoned, and has just the right amount of snap when you bite into it. The flavor holds up whether you’re grilling, sautéing, or slicing it into pasta or breakfast dishes. I also appreciate the lower fat content. It’s a great way to lighten up meals without sacrificing taste. Definitely keeping this as a staple in my fridge.”
“It Was Me & a Friend's first time going there and it won't be our last I had a lot of stuff in a small place I love that store.
Even if I live to be 500 they've got a customer for life.”
“I shop here at least 2 or 3 times a month for me and my clients. I always have a good experience everytime I go. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love Solls.”
“Sorry to my non-meat eating friends. Love y'all. Might want to just jump to the next review. Frandeka's is your one stop butcher right in the heart of Historic Soulard Market. The first time I ever went to Frandeka's I was absolutely blown away by the selection. There were meats and cuts that I've never heard of. No matter what you're looking for, they probably have it. From linked meats like cajun brats to hand crafted lunch meats, you won't have to make multiple stops thanks to Frandeka's. And all the prices are incredibly reasonable as well. The customer service at Frandeka's was also stellar! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They offered suggestions and also guidance on what would work best for the gumbo I was cooking. You can tell that they are accustomed to serving a high volume of traffic as they worked efficiently to help.”
“Had heard of Don's, but I was loyal to save way, until I ate Don's bacon and ground beef and now I'm a fan.. (sorry save way.. I found another way. )”
“The workers were hilarious I laughed the hole time I was there we were looking for jars of pimped out pickles and they didn't know what we were talking about. So instead they tried to sell us a jar of regular pickles. That was my first time there and I will go back and shop again”

“The tavern club may be the best sandwich available by a chain.
It is their signature ham, turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato. I order mine on the ciabatta, but people love the wheat too.
A bit pricey at $12, but go to the bottom of your receipt and fill out their survey and you get a code for buy one get one free next visit. Now that's a deal!!!”
“Great Mexican store with all the Mexican classics and cuts of meat. Friendly staff. And listen, if you can’t speak Spanish use Google translate and stop being snobby.”
“Hassim, the owner is as friendly and welcoming as can be. He greets every customer like they were family. The Chicken Philly was honestly the best I've ever had, cooked perfectly and with just the right amount of heat thrown in. The fries were perfectly seasoned and didn't need any ketchup to go with them. This market honestly has anything you might need to go to a bigger store for, give them a shot first!”
“I got the Hometown Hero sandwich, which was really fantastic. Mortadella, Genoa salami, provolone, garlic aïoli with some nice fresh lettuce and tomato. It was on an absolutely perfect hoagie roll from local bakery Union Loafers, and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve eaten in a while.
In addition to the sandwich, I picked up some beautiful beef jerky, an “end“ of mortadella, and a couple of other goodies.
Service was quick and friendly and it was a really great stop and I really like that they do not use sodium nitrite in their products, they are all natural! And very tasty.
This was the first time visiting this place, although I’ve passed it many times. Shame on me! I was missing out on some real deliciousness.”
