New Market Hardware is a perfect little neighborhood hardware store with an amazing, old-school feel. It has been in business at the same location since 1914. The store is bigger than you'd think with a massive inventory, carrying almost anything necessary for a home project, including hard-to-find items that big box stores don't carry. It is a great alternative to them. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly, providing fantastic, one-on-one service. They offer plentiful assistance, will find items for you, and provide warm greetings. Customer service is everything here, making for a memorable experience. There is also a cat that runs the place.

Great alternative to the big box stores.You go in, tell them what you're looking for, and they'll go get it for you, or show you where it is.Really good for hard to find items that the big stores don't bother to carry.Great service, decent prices.Oh, and pay no attention to the cat he/she runs the place.

Good customer service is EVERYTHING! My experience here is memorable; I was greeting warmly by all staff members that I came in contact with! That in itself spells REPEAT BUSINESS!
