I've really loved working out at shred! The community is so encouraging, and the instructors are some of the best hype people you'll meet. Classes are hard, but instructors are great about offering modifications. Nice variety in class times too- there's enough variety to make it work for most schedules!

I'm super grateful for my amazing instructors, Chloe, Ann, Natalie, Nikki, Nhi, Calli, and Carrie. They are masters of motivation every class I take! I always feel awesome after each class! They really care about each person and pay close attention to help you improve yourself! They are so helpful to me and I really look forward to attending each class. I feel more fit in every way! Shred415 is by far the most fun workout class I have ever taken! My fiancé and I signed up last year in October and we have been coming about 4/5 times a week ever since. Reasons why I love the workout: 1. Treadmills / running are incorporated! I love to run but I hate when I have to chose either weights or running. I love Shred because it keeps both! 2. Minimal thought/ experience required. You don't have to wait for equipment or think about what your next set is going to consist of because they tell you what to do the entire time! Also, if you don't know how to do something- it doesn't matter- because your instructor shows you each move before they expect you to do it. Reason why I love this location specifically: The Instructors & Staff are just the best! I truly feel like I have made some great friends here and that all of the people in this location genuinely care about you. It's so nice that I can pick my classes to go with my favorite instructors or I can take one with someone that's not in my regular "schedule" and I still get the same amazing workout and attention. Overall, the gym is clean, safe, but most importantly fun! 100% would recommend to anyone of any experience level!

These classes push you. I burnt 400+ kcal in 45min.The instructor did a great job at correcting firm and cueing.I think the pricing is fair and the staff was helpful + friendly

If you want a butt kicking workout, this is the place. I started coming here last year with ClassPass and now its one of my absolute favorites. The music is always great and upbeat and I love the mix of weights and running or walking. The treads that are at Shred 415 are unparalleled. I don't know what kind of magic is in these babies, but I find them easier to run on and that my knees are generally less cranky after running on them as compared to other runs, and they arent as long as a regular treadmill. One thing that I don't LOVE is that the trainers are sometimes difficult to hear over how loud the music is and how much they are saying - both instructing the floor exercisers and the treadmills. They also don't really adjust your form. I have only had one person there adjust my form and I think it was only because it was a small turnout in that class. They cue many exercise changes and show it for a couple seconds but correcting form is a big part of why I workout at a gym so I would appreciate it if they would do this more often and maybe just cue for slightly less changes in floor exercises. One other thing that drives me nuts is that the "benches" that you use in the floor section of the workout are really short and lightweight. As a 6ft tall woman, I don't feel secure on them at all because they aren't long enough for me to fit head to tail on. I know they are standardized and optimized to fit as many people in the class as possible but I think they could improve on this design, personally. The bathroom is really well stocked with items you might need post shower and 2 showers. There are blow dryers, q-tips, dry shampoo, etc. and plenty of towels available. Overall as a person who works out pretty regularly and has had trainers in the past I love this workout once or twice a week but they definitely could improve things for beginners.

Also, a huge shout out to the management team for constantly finding ways to diversify and improve on your services. Throughout my time at Shred415 Brentwood, I've not met an employee that wasn't willing to help. Bravo!

Love this place! Definitely take a class with Kate. Pros: effective workout. Great music. Group workout to help you push further. As a 5'5 woman, I burn about 5-600 calories each session. Not bad! Cons: The instructors will NEVER fix your form so if you don't know how to perform certain moves, you have to be very careful. I've seen some people clearly doing the moves incorrectly (in some way dangerous!) and the instructor won't correct them. This is true from all the classes I've been to. I don't recommend taking a class with Natalie. She made the class 5 mins segments instead of 4 x 15. 5 min segments mean we are constantly switching and wiping down the equipments. It's like she forgot Covid exist and we should limit switching so often (and we kept touching cleaning chemicals..) Overall I'll definitely be back. I'll just pick certain instructors :)

This is the best gym in St. Louis. I love the physical challenge and leave the gym drenched in sweat every time. I feel amazing after hitting the treads and decks. Highly recommend this gym.

Where to begin! I went to my first Shred class a little over a year ago. No running experience and no group class experience, but I would consider myself well versed in weight lifting. They made me feel right at home and so comfortable. I had to take a slight hiatus while some nasty shin splints healed up but I'm back and about to hit my 50th class. I highly highly recommend Shred 415 to anyone... no matter your fitness level. The instructors are amazing and really hype you up. They give you modifications if something is too challenging but really just encourage you to keep moving! Again I consider myself a fit person, but these classes really pushed me into that next realm. I finally feel heart and lung healthy. The classes are definitely challenging, but as one of my favorite instructors (Nikki) says "You can do hard things!". 15/10 check out Shred 415!!
