Home AloneThe show was great but the SLSO needs to get their act together in regards to the app! Their machines would not read the apps for tickets. You make it impossible to print tickets or mail you tickets yet their technology was an epic fail! After deciding they could not send ALL of us to the box office to print tickets they decided to just let us all into the theater.

The SLSO always provides a memorable experience. Can't wait to hear them at Kiel Opera House on September 24th. It's still Kiel Opera House to me, that's where they performed in 1964.

I love the Powell Symphony hall! I go a few times per year and it is always a great time! I recently went to thier free Juneteenth concert and it was spectactular! They had a great program and it is always varied- not just instrumentals by the orchestra, they had the choir singing as well, had a few spoken word moments and they also had some outstanding soloists! I love attending their Christmas concerts too! I love being able to afford tickets relatively close, so I have never had to sit in the nosebleed section. I can't wait to see how their renovations and additions enhances this gorgeous venue!

It's always a great time going here. To hear great life instrumental music in this case to see a score live from a movie while watching the movie. Seems like that should be the way we watch movies all the time. I would highly go back again and highly highly highly recommend. They do serve alcohol, but they also serve any other coca-Cola drink. They also serve any snacks, popcorn m&Ms starburst Skittles they're definitely there to help. You can't find your seat. They'll help you find a seat. So you won't have any problems in this bathrooms on every floor and just create in general

The format of this "family" concert was pretty goofy and distracting, but the orchestra and Powell Hall are always phenomenal

The symphony rendition of the score accompanying the movie "Elf" last night was spectacular. The entire audience jumped to their feet in a lengthy standing ovation in appreciation for this thrilling performance. Powell Hall was a Christmas Wonderland in all its holiday glory.

My hubby took me to the symphony on a surprise date and I loved it . It was a tribute to Whitney Houston night and it was quite elegant. I loved it all . The location was great. Parking was right across the street , thank god since it was so cold. It felt like royalty when you walked in. They gave you fans in case you were hot, a booklet of the night events and coat check for your coats. The singer was great and the music was awesome. Those instruments can make music on its own . The ambience was beautiful. Drinks were expensive and not worth the price and no food was offered. But that's not a deal breaker I'll definitely be back

Always love coming to the symphony - especially at Christmas! It is gorgeous and the musicians are so talented. Their drink prices are also very reasonable. Would recommend during a visit to STL!

Powell is the place to be for a symphony concert. Not like their is a lot competition but despite that I feel like they have made some improvements since my last visit. They now allow you to take your beverage to your seat which is an improvement over having to suddenly gulp down a glass of wine you ordered without realizing you must finish it before the show. Oops. But importantly it is the great acoustics that make this a lovely venue to hear music.

Another perfect evening at Powell. The performance was incredible. Since we are becoming regulars, purchased some wine sippy cups.
