In addition to a large variety of fresh (mostly wild caught) seafood, Starrs also has high quality beef, pork, and lamb racks. There is a very large selection of cheeses, wine, and alcohol of all varieties. Housemade specialties such as crab cakes and beef stroganoff are delicious! Additionally Starrs has a vast selection of specialty items in all categories. This store is a St. Louis jewel!

The best thing I can say about Starr’s is that if you haven’t ever been you should go there. I’m not aware of another shop that has as broad a selection of products and fabulous fresh fish and cheeses. Don’t take my word for it, check it out.

They roast their own coffee comma and the quality is superb. The Sumatra is my favorite. They also have an amazing and unusual selection of cheeses, with incredibly knowledgeable people behind the counters to help you with your selection. What goes great with cheese? Wine! They also have an eclectic Selection of excellent wines, with one of the most knowledgeable wine experts I’ve met anywhere who runs their Saturday afternoon tastings.

The sushi grade fish was amazing, fresh and healthy.
