The Novel Neighbor is a Webster gem and a favorite local bookstore in St. Louis, voted Best Book Store in the A-List Awards. It is a unique concept and space, a cute eclectic bookstore filled to the brim with books. It carries new adult and children’s books, with a fantastic kids’ section and a top-notch Taylor Swift section. Bookshelves are categorized by unique subjects with clear signage, and every section is filled with employee reviews. The store also works with local artists and has a great selection of gifts, fun gifts and stickers and things, and interesting novelties throughout. It is an amazing community space for author events, like a wonderful, well-organized Beto O'Rourke event, as well as for book clubs, classes, and more. The space includes cozy areas for reading, with lots of little rooms to explore and chairs to sit down with a book. The staff are knowledgeable, so sweet, friendly, incredibly patient, kind, proactive, and always ready to help find the “just-right” book. They make buying a book an adventure. The store offers plenty of parking, with a main entrance on Big Bend and a back entrance.

Staff is so kind and so helpful. Everything is clearly marked. Small enough to find everything easily but big enough for a great selection. Everyone loves this store.
