“Seemed to overemphasize amount of queer stuff, really wanted a more traditional book store. Actually tired of all the political slant at bookstores. Do they really need pride flags and blm.....lets just focus on books and things that unite us please”

“A smallish, carefully curated bookstore! A place to browse and discovery wonderful books. A perfect selection of children's books, local interest and nature-lover's titles. I found two books I'd never heard of, and could scarcely walk across the street to me car without starting to read! (There's a large, free, public parking lot in back, btw). What a great find in (downtown?) Webster Groves!!”

“This book store is why I love bookstores. The Novel Neighbor makes buying a book an adventure. Each genre is separated with clear signage and every section is filled with employee reviews. I love that the kids section has reviews and written by age appropriate readers! I could waste an afternoon just basking in this ambiance. Excellent small book store!”

“This is the best HPB in the region, and thanks to their location, the best used book store in the region, period. I'm usually looking for film books, music books, books about philosophy, sociology, the occult, cryptids, graphic novels and films and I almost never leave empty handed.”

“I absolutely love Barnes and Nobles in general but In the STL area this one is my favorite! They always have a ton of manga and they keep their toys and merchandise in stock! On top of everything the people that work there are super sweet and they have a nice sit down cafe where you can do some work if need be! If you were looking for a book to read or just browse I would highly recommend this store!”

“Large and impressive inventory. Comparable with a Barnes & Noble w/ prices that are competitive with Amazon. With that said, there weren't really many deals to be had. In a two level store, I found one cart of deep-discounted trade paperbacks. There were quality non-fiction authors on the discount cart, which was impressive.I like trinkets and souvenirs, but there were none that were reasonably priced. A coffee mug (made in China) for $17. Stickers for $4. Postcards for $2.Ambience is nice, but a little cramped. Animal friendly - there is a cat rumoured to live there, and a customer brought her dog with her.Parking could be difficult. I don't live in the area. I visited on a Sunday, and a local resident told me that street parking was free on weekends. Otherwise, I would have tried to pay. Also, the street meters claim to want my plate number, which I am not willing to provide to a random machine on the street. If I need a new-release book in the future, I will call and check Left Bank Books against Amazon for pricing and availability.”

“Great to see Grand Ave finally get a record store. And while it's small, it packs a solid punch. Their hours are a little rough...like getting to places before 5 is not the easiest thing for workin' folk. But the owner's really nice and he has a really cool dog, too.”

“The STL area is so lucky to have The Book House! It is such a charming space--two entire stories of books, complete with shop cats! (What more could a book lover ask for?) The Book House is a great place to linger and explore--it has a really warm, cozy, and inviting atmosphere (with huge shelves, books stacked on every available surface, it basically looks like every charming indie bookshop you see in movies.) They have a wonderful mix of new, used, and special edition books, and a nice selection dedicated specifically to STL-focused books. They also do a nice of spotlighting local authors, which is a welcome addition. I would say their on-ground selection skews more towards new books than used ones, but their small, dedicated used book section has lots of treasures, there are used books to be found throughout, and their online site also offers a lot of options in a range of price points. A delightful indie bookstore which is a cozy, welcoming place to spend an afternoon!”

“I ordered through Walmart, but received an email from the companies customer service immediately. I worked with Gage to customize the front cover and back cover. He sent over a proof for me to approve prior to printing the product. I'm across the country in California and the shipping was incredibly fast. The product looks great!! Good quality for the price, very happy with my purchase. I will order directly through them next time I have a need for personalized/custom coloring books.”

“I have to give kudos to the staff at the Webster campus store. I had an issue with my online order, and I called the actual store to resolve the matter. The staff member was amiable and pleasant to speak to and solved the matter over the phone with no problem. Once again, thank you so much. Also, it was effortless to place an order on the internet. Great shopping experience!”
