No stars what so ever. I came to this location 9 minutes before they closed not intentionally. I work all day from 6 am -10 pm. I filled out my priority box quickly I was at the register exactly at 5:57 pm. She wouldn’t help me. I was sending a package by priority mail to my kids as a surprise. She said they have never had priority tape if I wanted it I had to buy regular tape. Why the need to be rude. I explained to her that I was running behind getting here so late. She didn’t care and chose not to help me. She was a short stocky black older woman. I could clearly see in her face the unwillingness to help. Why??? If we see that the world is upside down why not do an act of kindness. I wasn’t asking for a hand out I just wanted to pay for a service. I will never come to this location again. She wouldn’t help me but she literally ran to the door to let me out. 🤣

I waited in line and heard the postal clerk being rude to the person in front of me because the customer didn’t know exactly when to put her payment card in the reader.
I was there because I needed to know if an envelope needed extra postage. I had brought some older stamps that still have a postage amount on them (not forever stamps). The postal clerk weighed the envelope and told me it just needed one stamp. I asked how much that would be. I didn’t know off the top of my head what the current stamp price is. She said just one stamp. I told her I had older stamps. I just needed the amount. She claimed incorrectly that those are collectors items and aren’t used anymore and that I’d have to buy forever stamps.
Also, the facility looks like the afterlife‘s waiting room in Beetlejuice. Dim, flickering fluorescent lighting, hanging below a drywall ceiling with big sections that have fallen down.

I can see why this place is so poorly rated.
It had one clerk who had no care at all as to how to serve customers.

They were supposed to be open until 1pm, but the postal woman in this photo locked the doors 5 minutes early on Saturday April 26. This is not ok, and should not be a regular practice.

Despite some of the comments, this USPS location has been pretty good to me. Every time I've gone, the people working there are helpful and get things done. Never had a problem with a package or anything. Just a heads-up, though: it gets packed during lunch and right after work, so try to swing by at a weird time if you can.

Only one person is helping at the reception, no matter how much big the line is

Recently this branch solved a problem for me which they did not create. I am grateful for their service. This location still needs the self-serve mailing units.

April up front is very rude and needs an attitude adjustment. I’m always in line there and there’s only ever one person working and the rest of them working there will stand at the other registers and refuse to help customers. This place is always busy. Why is there only one person at the register?

The worst! I work in Olivette. We've had outgoing mail disappear into thin air so often I cannot even count. Recently, we sent out 8 checks to vendors, not a single one made it to its destination. Do you realize what a headache this causes? Two years ago, we had around 40 pcs of mail disappear, some were checks. Whoever got hold of them was able to alter them & cash some of them. We understand the perpetrators were caught but now it seems to be happening again. We occasionally receive mail with 6+ month old post marks! Outgoing mail, if it does even make it to it's destination, can take weeks & weeks to get across town! Same for incoming mail. This place is the epitome of mismanagement & corruption, so much so, we now try to avoid altogether. I will deliver checks or ask local vendors to pick up checks. We try to use ACH or wire transfers, whatever we need to do to avoid handing off mail to the Olivette post office, we do it. It is THAT bad.

I am usually a patient person, but my recent experience at the post office was far from satisfactory. I had scheduled an appointment well in advance.
The staff informed me that the delay was due to the person’s extended lunch break, which I found quite unprofessional. Customers should not have to bear the brunt of extended lunch break. It's important for businesses to respect the time of their customers.
The employees are lousy and have attitude. They do not have any respect for customers.

USPS needs to learn from the work efficiency and service of UPS & FedEx.

Went there to renew my passport.. the person that specializes in this was absolutely no help and had a terrible attitude... Another person assisted me and her and I worked through it together and she was amazing. I will never go here again.. 1.5 hours of my life that should've taken 25 minutes..
