“We held our event at The Franklin, and we were truly blown away by the extravagant hospitality exemplified by the owners and all the staff! Danny and Christina are some of the kindest people we've had the pleasure to work with, and they bent over backwards to make sure that every need was accommodated - and trust me, we had a lot!! They were fantastic throughout the planning process and were always available to answer questions. They were both physically present during our event, and that gave us such peace of mind to know that they cared enough about our celebration to stay and make sure every detail was perfect!
The venue was in excellent condition - clean and glowing with historic charm - and we were thrilled to have it be the setting for our special day. We had multiple guests tell us how beautiful the space was!
The chef was absolutely phenomenal and did a fantastic job of curating a menu specifically for us! We are foodies with a love of new and authentic dishes, and the food did not disappoint! We had many guests approach us throughout the evening to say how delicious the food was! The serving staff were friendly and professional and truly added to the elegance of the evening.
We really can't recommend The Franklin enough!! It's a 10/10 for us! Thank you for making our celebration perfect!”
“This was actually my first time ever attending anything or other than that. I would go for exercise, like walking up-and-down steps, things that nature back in the day. But they had the African arts festival, and it was pretty nice. I love how the grounds are love.The water fountain, it was beautiful out there”

“We got the toasted ravioli with butternut squash and a Currie base sauce with just the right amount of kick. Not too spicy, just the right amount. Will definitely be getting again next time I come. Maybe even in a couple hours once we come back down from our hotel room lol.”

“This venue is incredible! We hosted our son's birthday party there recently and had a wonderful experience. It is so nice to have the entire place to yourself, and the food is delicious! We loved not needing an exact count for bowling, which meant we could include families without having to ask who wanted to bowl before they arrived. The staff is so kind, helpful and easy going. The point person for planning was very responsive and helpful as well and answered all my questions and even made suggestions that helped our event run smoothly. We will book again in the future without hesitation!”
“Ever since watching Ryan Gosling's perspective on how incredible jazz is in the movie 'La La Land', it's been a bucket list dream of mine to attend a jazz club. This place couldn't have been more perfect for my mom & I's first jazz experience! Everyone was so friendly and the Casa Loma Ballroom looked like it was straight out of a film set. Suffice to say, this experience was a total dream!!”

“Such a magical place. No seat is a bad seat for this 1 ring circus. I’ve gone about 90% of the time the past 40 seasons.
It’s a great blend of International talent and home grown youth. The international talent is always top notch and they come to STL as part of their individual schedules.
The local teens are trained in circus arts at the City Museum’s everyday circus. I’ve gone every year for decades and it’s fun to see the same kids grow over the years.
The show offers a Peanut free offering, a light/sound sensitivity one, a PRIDE night and more. It’s one of my 2 STL Summer Traditions I always love.”
“My fiancé and I were looking for a venue for our 2027 wedding and absolutely loved the Palladium. We met with Kendra, who is AMAZING, and she was a big part of our decision to book this venue. Kendra made us feel very confident in our choice for our venue. We recently had our first tasting and the entire event was amazing. We got to try some of the food we could have on our menu and some vendors were there for us to meet. We are so excited to have our wedding at the Palladium and can’t wait for our big day!”
“Pretty cool place for someone with an eye for creativity! This place reminds me of one of my favorites stores in Minnesota, Axman. They have a lot of different items that could be handy for anyone who likes to do crafts.”

“They host our model club, IPMS Gateway Chapter, the 3rd Tuesday each month. Each year we have an invitational contest and swap meet in September. Reasonable folks and a good venue.”

“Considering the many smaller concert venues in the St. Louis area, The Hawthorn stands out as one of the best. The staff was friendly and professional, and the venue itself felt safe, organized, and well-managed. The lighting and sound were exceptional and gave the entire show a high-quality atmosphere.
1 minor drawback is the beverage pricing, though that is fairly standard for most live event venues. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The Hawthorn and look forward to attending another show in the very near future.”

“City Cottage was the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner! We loved getting to use the pizza oven for our “Love at First Slice” cocktail hour—it was such a unique and fun touch that our guests are still talking about. The bar setup was absolutely adorable, and the dinner that followed was delicious. The staff went above and beyond, helping with setup and clean up, which made everything run so smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better space or a more wonderful team to work with!”

“So let me first state I'm a picky eater. I came to this venue for an event honoring local first responders. So I came expecting blah blah food and my expectations were shattered. The food here is DELICIOUS ?. The atmosphere was warm and cozy and the owners were very nice people. Great job Royale Orleans! ?”
“Friendly folks and Plenty of community involvement. As an ex smoker, I find the inside of the bar itself a bit hard to take. With regard to the cigarette odor. That's the only complaint though.”

Nestled within the South Hamptom community, Zoomies Pet Cafe is a warm and welcoming environment for pet lovers. They also have delicious coffee which they also have available for gatherings (ask them for the details)!
A couple weeks ago, Barkuterie Shop popped up at Zoomies. We look forward to visiting more frequently this year.”
