CarShield provides customized service contracts for vehicles, offering peace of mind and security against expensive, unforeseen repairs. Customers can feel assured that they are prepared for unexpected auto repairs. CarShield has proven to be reliable in times of need, covering repair costs and helping customers get back on the road quickly. For instance, one customer had a radiator replaced for $800, with CarShield covering all but a small portion of the cost, and was back on the road in just over two hours. Another customer had their a/c compressor repaired at the dealership with no hassle, thanks to CarShield's efficient approval process. While some customers have praised CarShield for surpassing their expectations, others have expressed concerns. One customer mentioned having a breakdown that required a new engine, and CarShield approved the repair, covering some additional parts they were unaware of. However, another customer reported dissatisfaction after paying over $700 out of pocket for a $1,200 claim, raising questions about the deductible. Additionally, there have been mixed experiences regarding customer service and payment processing, leading some to reconsider their contracts. Overall, CarShield has received both high praise and critical feedback for its services.
The one and only time I have tried to use Car Shield for roadside service they didn’t respond. It was 8:45PM and after trying to contact them again for 45 minutes, I finally had to call my ex husband to come help me.
