“I’d like to give a huge shout out to Mikey. I believe that was his name. On 06/06/2026 we attended a concert at the Black Oak Mountain Amphitheater in Lampe. Had a blast. Anyway a little about myself, I have COPD and I carry a nebulizer machine with me for emergencies. Well on our way home back to Lynchburg a looong way home I started having COPD exacerbation and needed to do a breathing treatment only problem was I don’t have an adapter for my car to run my machine so we started looking for somewhere that might let me use an outlet so I could do a breathing treatment. Well we got off at the Buc-ee’s/break time off ramp and thought to ourselves surely buc ees would let us use an outlet. Well they didn’t said it was against company policy and my condition was getting worse near time to call 911. We got back into our car and headed back to the interstate, and Thats when my wife said let’s try the break time so we did. It was very late about closing time when we walked in and was greeted by Mikey. Big teddy bear kinda guy, very polite and when I asked if there was any way I could use and outlet to do a treatment he didn’t even hesitate and showed me right away where I could plug in and in just a few minutes I was fine and made it home safely. I truly believe Mikey saved my life that night and I’m forever in his debt. Please tell him thank you again for what he did.
