“Use to go regularly to the Brentwood store but with a change of employees I became more and more disappointed. Switched to the Ballwin store and couldn't be happier. Whoever hired TJ should get a raise (and her too).”

There is a very large selection of cheeses, wine, and alcohol of all varieties. Housemade specialties such as crab cakes and beef stroganoff are delicious! Additionally Starrs has a vast selection of specialty items in all categories. This store is a St. Louis jewel!”
“Great selection and such helpful friendly staff. Easy street parking in front, as well as a small parking lot in back, make a quick stop so convenient. They always have a kind word for my dog plus a treat, so it is fun to stop by when we are out for a walk. Their wine suggestions are spot on.”
“I wish I had taken pictures, but there are plenty already posted. The people that work in this place were so incredibly friendly and helpful that it is absolutely unheard of these days. They have anything and everything you could ever imagine from an amazing craft beer selection to a massive whiskey area and then a huge floor full of different wines from different countries and regions. They have so many cool crackers, cheeses, snacks and candy. There are things in there that are completely one off items and some that you’ll recognize but with amazing prices. “This Dierbergs was the only place in Fenton with the item I needed! Other than that, it was just like any other Dierbergs: clean, well stocked, and expensive.
The staff at this one were particularly friendly, too.
It looks like they've got their seasonal stuff out, and some of it is a marked improvement from last year. Check it out if that's what you are interested in.”

The other day, Hannah located a wine that neither the Wine Barrel nor the larger chain retailers had in stock and got it for me within 24 hours so I could have it for an upcoming party. None of the larger stores or national chain stores were willing to do that for me.”
“I used to live in STL, and when I came back for a Cardinals game, we stopped at a Dierbergs just to remind me of how absolutely wonderful that store is! There's a vast variety of food inside, every department is a treat. The prices are higher in general than other stores, but to me, its worth it just to have such a pleasant shopping experience! Great place to pick up a small gift, they always have tons of cute seasonal items for sale.”
“I love Dierbergs for specialty/gluten free/ allergen friendly foods, and I enjoy checking out the discount aisle. There's always something I likely wouldn't have purchased when I hit that aisle/cooler. Just make sure to check dates on EVERYTHING in that discount cooler and ensure you either use immediately or freeze it that day, so it doesn't age out on you!”

“I want to say THANK YOU!!! I Just left the Dierbergs location in Des Peres and had the BEST customer service EVER!!! I was looking for beef short ribs. I asked the meat counter gentleman. he walked over with me to the place they should have been. there was only 1 pack and I really needed 3-5 pounds. he was nice enough to not only go see if he had any in the freezer but he also cut them and from full ribs. To me this is real customer service! This is just one example on why I drive past 4 other grocery stores to come to this location. THANK YOU for having the BEST employees!!!”
